What Parents Say
Deltona Kid City USA 2 receives consistently high praise from parents for its caring, attentive staff and educational approach. Parents report their children are happy, engaged, and making developmental progress in a welcoming environment. Communication with parents occurs through daily reports and phone check-ins, though the center lacks a photo-sharing app system.
My daughter has been going here for a while now! They’re very friendly and very welcoming. The communication is pretty good, but they don’t have any kind of updating system like other locations with an app where they send pictures. Otherwise calling through out the day while I’m working to just check in on my 1 and only to see how she is doing works. They’ll send you a picture every now and again with your request. They give you a report at the end of the day if something happened with your little one. My daughter is in the 1s and loves her teachers! She learned to walk here and everyone is so patient with her. Highly recommend!
I am very grateful for this school. My son tells me every day that he likes his school. The last school I had him in, he would cry when I dropped him off but when we came to this school. I drop him off, both my kids run to their classes without even a hug goodbye. I feel like my kids are seen and heard from the teachers. I feel safe that they are there.
I just firstly want to say neither Dacia or Amber are motherly. They think they are more great than they actually are. They may try and fool you as if they are, but as a real mom here, I can see they fail at it. And that’s just what it takes to run a daycare and feel truly successful at at, like you’ve really accomplished and achieved the job. Stop talking to the toddlers like they are little babies or they’re going to act like it. Talk to them normally with big words. When we drop our children off to go to work, we expect the best nurturing and safety for our kids. They’re the most important to us in our lives as a mother. Now here’s my review: I think these employees or whatever they want to call themselves, live in fantasy land. If your child isn’t looking to become a nun, they will have a write up report daily. My son is a little wild toddler, and they call me at work and have multiple write ups almost daily. Let’s say my son does have a behavioral issue, I’m willing to do whatever I can in my power to help him and his needs. She threw him out before telling me that the teacher there threatened to quit if my son was not removed. How in the world do you tell a mother this, especially when YOU signed up to work at a DAYCARE. Go work somewhere else if you don’t like your job, it’s a freaking daycare, I’ll never understand. I worked at a daycare before many years ago and I understand that some kids aren’t always well behaved, but to take my sons wild behavior personally and taking it out him is ridiculous, he’s only 4. Update: 2 months after this post, Coincidentally, my son has been doing fantastically at this new daycare. Child Find told me my son can sense when he isn't liked and can also sense bad spirits (teachers at this daycare) i will just leave this review with this.
We LOVE this daycare. Staff are friendly, they don’t just babysit but actually teach the kids and help them grow. Everyday we find something new our 1 year old has learned. Highly recommended.
Let me tell you how much I love my Kid City Deltona 2...LOTS! If you have a child I don't have to tell you how hard it is to leave them but I know my little ones are so well loved and cared for. Not only that but educated and given special attention. All the teachers are friendly and welcoming, engaged and attentive. The director Ms. Dacia is the BEST. The head of the house is a great sign off what's inside and our family loves her to bits! They are so attentive to me as well rushing to help since I have two baby carriers, getting the door or even helping me to the car so I can hold the hand of the walking child. Can't say enough about them!
