Delmar Highlands Kindercare Preschool

Our experience at KinderCare Del Mar has truly been exceptional. We moved to the Del Mar area from Spain with our three-year-old daughter and enrolled her in the preschool class, and from day one we felt welcomed and supported. Our daughter absolutely loved going to school — so much so that she would often ask us to pick her up later because she didn’t want to leave! The transition and care provided by Ms. Raquel and Ms. Jessica were wonderful. They made her feel safe, happy, and excited to learn. Later, she moved up to the Pre-K class with Ms. Amanda and Ms. Ghada, and once again we were blown away by the level of care and dedication. The teachers truly go above and beyond. We were amazed by how much learning took place in such a joyful, playful, and nurturing environment. We felt that Ms Amanda´s program was brilliant and allowed our daughter Sofia to learn so much in a very happy and playful environment. Unfortunately, we had to relocate again due to work. When it was time to say goodbye, Ms. Amanda created the most beautiful memory book for our daughter to take with her. I think only a genuinly caring person can use their own personal time to create something so wonderful. We could not speak highly enough about our experience. Thank you Kindercare Del Mar team

Our experience with the daycare center in Pre-K and the toddler class have been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we enrolled our children, it was evident that the staff truly cared about the well-being and development of each child. What sets this daycare center apart is the genuine care and attention they provide to every child. Mrs. Amanda (Pre-K) and Mrs. Yoko (Toddler) went above and beyond to build a nurturing and warm environment for our kids. We loved seeing all their smiles and updates through the app everyday! We cannot thank the staff enough for their dedication and support during this important transition period. The center director Mrs. Kristina and the administrative staff always helped us with any questions we had and made us feel welcome and supported. Both our kids looked forward to going to daycare every day, and as parents, we had peace of mind knowing they were in such capable and caring hands. If we hadn’t moved from the area, we would’ve stayed. We highly recommend this daycare center to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their child.

We have had nothing but a very positive experience with the Del Mar Highlands KinderCare! Having to send our first child to daycare in the middle of a pandemic was hard enough, but they made it easy. In our initial introduction video meeting with Katrina, she was dressed as the big bad wolf in grandma pajamas - we were sold! They are wonderful communicators (the app is so great!) and are extremely flexible and understanding. During these uncertain times, the guidelines they follow and professionalism in handling it has been all we could hope for. The infant and toddler teachers have been amazing and it is obvious that they care for our daughter (and she cares for them). They also plan so many fun indoor/outdoor activities and themed events!

My daughter has been at KinderCare since she was six months old and is now in the toddler classroom. It's a clean, safe, and friendly environment. Her teachers are wonderful and have been a significant part of her development. I receive reports on what she eats, what she's learning, and her daily activities. I see that reflected at home, for example, she says new words often. I highly recommend the Del Mar location and intend to have my daughter here until she starts school!

My daughter recently finished her KinderCare journey, starting at 3 months in the infant classroom through pre-K. What a positive experience for her (and our family) - KC has definitely more than prepared her very well for Kindergarten. Each class level has a great curriculum with many fun indoor and outdoor activities and holiday events/parties throughout the year. Summer camp is a blast with water activities and special events. The directors and staff are outstanding! Many thanks to the 2 directors Ms. Katrina and Ms. Johana. Very professional and great at communicating updates/changes in person, by email, or through the easy to use app. I was very impressed with how quickly they responded and enacted new health and sanitization protocols based on current and changing COVID guidelines. Also special thanks to Ms. Amanda. We had the privilege of having her as the pre-K teacher not only for our recent pre-K grad but also our 12 year-old son who also attended the same site. My son says that Ms. Amanda's pre-K curriculum will make Kindergarten seem too easy! Thank you again for partnering with us during these early critical years of child development.
