I went in for a district training today. On arrival everyone was so helpful and welcoming. The school was very clean and print rich with the students work. The total care for the children is unmatched the teachers were so attentive to each child’s needs. The Director was so inviting and accommodating to our training class. I just want to say thank you and keep up the amazing work. I would definitely recommend this school for any preschool scholars.
The truth! Truly. I was a bit hesitant at first, I couldn't understand why they were so adamant about accepting the fact that my 3 year old (1st year in any school environment) was not a baby anymore. Since school started in August.. my 3 year old is writing and spelling her name, reading sight words, counting by 5s, adding by 1s, creating patterns, writing her letters. I have been floored. Honestly. Please do not enroll your child here for childcare purposes... this is not a daycare. It is literally a school. If you are looking for the PERFECT foundation to start your child's educational journey... TERRY MILLS IS IT! & my daughter lovessss it there. The staff greets her daily by name, you can tell they love the kids they work with & love what they do! & her classroom teachers??? Remarkable!!
My daughter attended both years of PreK at Terry Mill and left reading full books. She was writing her alphabet by October of her P3 year and really excelled. The staff is top tier in education, emotional support and nurturing the whole child. You can tell this is an approach that is implemented from the admin that leads this team of great educators. If this school is an option for your child, choose it.
My daughter is currently enrolled in the 3K program and this school is awesome. She has learned so much since her enrollment in August. She knows her planets and months of the year, how to write her first and last name and they are working on “greater than less than” comparisons!( That’s Impressive) My daughter genuinely loves going to this school. They use apps to communicate with the parents if needed, and even have the kids submit homework sometimes via the apps. I love the use of technology and that they give homework to support the lessons. This program ha far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.
Please do not bring your child here if your child is hyperactive! They will not take the proper steps to make sure your child has what they need in order to stay in school . Instead they gave a modified schedule then said she wouldn’t be able to come back because they couldn’t deal with her instead of helping her !
