Deer Flat Childcare & Preschool Center

My son has gone to this daycare for over a year. The staff are super friendly and caring. They feel like family who are watching my kid. My favorite things about this daycare: 1.) You can bring your own food for your kid or they will provide it for you for no extra charge. 2.) The hours for pick up and drop off 6:30 to 7pm which is excellent for a commuter to Boise like me. 3.) They helped me with transitions like when my son was potty training they took him to the bathroom and reminded him more often so he didn't have accidents. Also when he stopped having naps, there was no pull back from the daycare.. They just told him he was a big kid now and that was that. 4.) My son loves the teachers very much and enjoys going to daycare. 5.) They don't close down if there is too much snow 6.) They don't require a deposit of several weeks payment prior to starting like the other daycares do. 7.) They don't lose my kids stuff. All of the kids have cubbies and if something comes off of the kid like a jacket or a hat, it goes in the cubby. I could keep going on and on. This daycare is amazing and deserves 6 stars or more. I wouldn't recommend another place in Kuna.

A wonderful place. I bring my kids on a part time/drop by basis when I have appointments, as well as to give my older kids some interaction and fun. Lots of fun learning programs, a HUGE backyard and playground for outdoor play, a nice patio for play if it is cold out. When I bring my baby I get good communication about her day. Safe, secure.

Both my daughters go to Deer Flat Childcare and love it. All of the care givers are kind and patient with all the children there. For example, my youngest daughter has attended since December for their preschool and child care programs and this morning was the first time she has ever cried while I was dropping her off. After a weekend of not being around me much she just didn't want it to be Monday morning where I had to keave and work. One of the caregivers offered to sit and cuddle with her for a while to make her feel better. That did the trick, she felt comforted and loved. There are very few people I'd leave my children with but the caregivers here are like a second family to my littles. They truly care about the kids they have and do everything they can to work with the families. The manager does research and finds programs to help the kids out and is constantly upgrading several areas of the facility and the things they can offer the kids and families. They are dedicated to what they do and I'm so relieved I found them to take care of my children while I work.

Upon trying to enroll my children at Deer Flat Childcare & Preschool I was making them aware of my son's allergies. The woman asked me how severe his allergies were and responded with, "deadly." She proceeded to tell me that they do serve peanut butter & jelly sandwiches as well as snacks that include nuts daily and that his allergies would not be accommodated in their facility. I've noticed Tara believes that she didn't surreal our interact with me for some reason. It appears her memory is failing her. I met face to face with her and experienced discrimination I'm not sure what her issue is with Jessica but I'm sorry your confused about the situation. I am also grateful that you accomidate children with very insignificant allergies such as grass, cats, dogs, etc. Because my son also suffers from minimal allergies such as those. But where the issue is is that my son is so deathly allergic to peanuts and tree nuts that if it Even touched his skin it could kill him. Thank you ma'am for you weigh in about your child allergies but we're talking about a completely different type of danger! I am so happy that you enjoy this daycare. You're entitled to your opionion, as am I. I will continue to share my experience with this facility with other mothers seeking child care. We actually found an outstanding academy I would recommend to ask parents. Precious Hands Academy.

My son has been going to Deer flat for a while. He has extremely Severe allergies to grass, corn husks, weeds, shrubs, bushes, trees, pollen, cats, dogs, birds, pretty much everything environmental. They're bad enough that he's been on medicine for 6 years old and has rounds and rounds of shots. Deer flat has been extremely courtesy and compensating to these allergies. The staff there is amazing to work with. They are all very kind and professional. My son has been to a few other daycares and I can guarantee they are one of the best I've found. For any parent it's hard to leave your Child with other people, but they've been so welcoming that he feels right at home and throughly enjoys going there. For a single mom, that makes all the difference.
