The best decision I have ever made was to send my preschooler here. The teachers are so genuine and they care, the school program itself is very organized and they have a routine and provide a curriculum that allows the kids to grow. They have regular assessing of skills so you can reinforce practicing at home. My son is three and is reading, he adores school, his friends and his teachers. He has blossomed into an even more independent boy. I cannot say enough how wonderful this program is!

I’ve gone back and forth about posting this, but I feel it’s only fair for parents to have the full picture of what will be offered. My 3-year-old attended this pre school, They charge among the highest tuition rates in the area which I was willing to pay, assuming my child would be treated well. Unfortunately, our experience did not match the reputation. Because my son did not nap on command, he was repeatedly removed from his classroom and made to sit in the office for extended periods of time (at least an hour, to my knowledge). There were no developmentally appropriate accommodations offered, such as quiet activities… (which, after doing research, other preschools provide) At pickup, my child would often be completely mute—emotionally shut down, not speaking or responding—as if he believed he was being punished. He also began having nightmares on school nights, which had never been an issue before. For this reasoning I pulled him from the program. After speaking to a well known BCBA This is not developmentally appropriate for a 3-year-old. Not all children nap, and isolating a child for that reason is punitive rather than supportive. I want to be clear: this is not just my experience. I’ve spoken with multiple parents who have shared similar concerns but choose to stay quiet. I’ve also seen children removed or “kicked out” based solely on the director observing them and deciding they are “not a good fit,” without meaningful time, support, or intervention. Preschool is meant to be fun, toddlers are supposed to be able to act as toddlers. Not military soldiers. Childcare is not one-size-fits-all, but emotional safety, flexibility, and fair treatment should be the minimum—especially at premium prices. I’m sharing this so parents can make informed decisions and ask the right questions, not to attack anyone. Trust your instincts and advocate for your child.

I want to leave this comment because I know it might serve as a guide for another mom when looking for a preschool in the area. When I was searching for a school for my first and only child, I came across so many options and very few ways to verify the credibility, reputation, or even history of the childcare centers. DELC was one of the first places I visited, and I was immediately impressed. However, at that time, my son wasn’t potty trained yet, and the program I was interested in required it. While we worked toward that milestone, I enrolled him in another nearby center. Even though I didn’t know much about the dynamics at DELC, I just knew there was something better out there, and that my son wasn’t thriving where he was (he was getting sick every week). That became a constant source of worry, so I decided to withdraw him. Once he was almost fully potty trained, I spoke with Miss Sandra, and they agreed to accept him. I can honestly say that from day one, the peace of mind I felt leaving my son in DELC’s care remained constant throughout the two full years he was there. Since starting at DELC, the frequency of his illnesses dropped by 98%, thanks to the place’s incredible cleanliness. My son didn’t speak a single word of English at first, and today, I can say he’s bilingual. With love and patience, Miss Stacy and the entire staff helped dissolve my biggest fear. My son quickly adapted to the environment. Every activity, celebration, and important milestone was highlighted in the most beautiful way by the entire staff. I am so thankful to Miss Sandra and Miss Stacy for all the support she gave us during this time, the understanding and dedication they have here is unmatched. DELC didn’t just become a safe place for my child, they became part of our family. I would recommend this place a million times over, and if I were to have another child, I would enroll them here without a second thought. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ We will miss you 🥰

My daughter has been with DELC since before she started walking as a student in My Baby & Me and after 2 years, she is now a PreK3 student. My son has started the 1 year old Baby & Me class this year. Sandra & her teachers are the most caring, motivating and supportive teachers you can trust with your childs mind and education. I’ve seen such an amazing difference in my children’s learning and development since starting at this school. I only recommend this program and there’s no close second. We love DELC! (structure, routine, academics, cleanliness, interaction, updates from teachers, communication with parents)
