We love our church! We felt welcomed the moment we walked through the doors! We joined back in the Fall of 2020 when they were only having outdoor service but now are able to safely worship in the sanctuary again! They truly welcome all people and we have a very diverse congregation who is always willing to lend a helping hand. They are always putting together fun events and make every holiday season special. I highly recommend checking out the live stream on YouTube or coming in person for the 10:15am service, Rev Nathan is the best!
Friendly but they are not all over U. Serious about worshipping but open minded. Great music and awesome choir. Bible readings and exchanges in which everyone can express their opinions and questions, and get feedback from smart folks who will respect your views. Frequent community assistance activities. Not large but not very small congregation (90-100 ppl). IMPORTANT: they explore different ways to approach Christian practice and understanding, so they are not closed in their own ideas & ways. Good for ppl who have questions about religion and are trying to find their own approach to it.
Love this church and joined in January 2019. It is made up of many fabulous and caring people. Truly, all are welcome and encouraged to participate in communion offered every Sunday, regardless of where you are on your faith journey. Our minister, Pastor Nathan Brown is a tremendous leader, passionate, inspirational and incredibly welcoming.
This church has made my spiritual life made so meaningful. Rev. Dr. Nathan Brown, Senior Minister, and the entire staff of ministers from music to youth are incredibly smart and talented. Visit us and hopefully join our inclusive, open and affirming church... only if you want to be a name and not a number!
Sandy Springs Christian Church is a loving safe place to worship, hear the Word of God preached in a gentle voice and take Communion weekly without judgement. They are LGBTQ+ affirming. The environment is calm and welcoming. The people are genuine and serve the community well. It is a Lighthouse for anyone looking for a new church home.
