I highly recommend Davis Holland's learning center! The owner & Jen is very accommodating and nice, always going an extra mile for the children. My daughter absolutely loves going to school here. The teachers are patient and make learning fun. The classrooms are clean, organized, and conducive to learning. I have seen a significant improvement in my daughter's academic performance and confidence since she started attending. I am beyond grateful!

My son was punched in the stomach by one of the workers at this daycare. He was misbehaving and kicked the worker and she got him in a corner and punched him in the stomach. Her name was Tatiana and she lives locally in MaysLanding. It took 3 days to find/get in touch with Mel, the owner. She was more concerned that was I was going to tell people my son was punched at her daycare. She made the comment “ oh no now when you tell people I’m going to lose more kids and I already lost so many to Covid.” I filed a police report on Tatiana but the cameras do not record and it was my son’s word against Tatiana’s who of course lied and denied it. My son’s story was VERY exact and has never changed even at 5 years old. Mel tried to convince me Tatiana was PLAYING with my son and HE got it confused that HE WAS PUNCHED IN THE STOMACH AND his words of “IT HURT VERY BAD AND I WAS CRYING ” we’re not accurate although she was nowhere to be found. To this day my son brings the incident up and Tatiana. The cops did nothing and Mel the owner was the worst offender. I confronted Tatiana and her mother in the Woodlands in MaysLanding when I ran into them accidentally and my son was scared and told the same story. I almost got into a physical altercation with the girl but I am too old to be in jail but I gave her and her mother some choice words. Again the cameras do not record, Mel was unreachable for 3 days, and she was concerned she would lose more kids more than she was the actual assault. Even the police did nothing. Mel did not fire Tatiana because she punched my 5 year old in the stomach. Mel asked her about the incident and Tatiana got loud and told Mel a few choice words and once the screaming match was over Mel told Tatiana to leave. Again even after she was fired Mel tried to convince me that my son’s story was not correct and that’s how “Tati” played with the kids. BE WARNED!! My son still brings this up when we pass the daycare! TRAUMATIC

I do not recommend this place. I would have many years ago when my children were there although there were issues back then but it’s honestly worse now. The owner can be nice and have a good heart but she will turn on you in a heartbeat just like a light switch. I am truly hurt on a personal level due to her actions towards my daughter! She is very unprofessional and doesn’t think before she speaks! She refers to my daughter as a failure and a Liar. There are times that things happen in front of children screaming matches management to employees. My daughter has been pushed into depression and the worse part she is aware of certain diagnosis my daughter has. So with this being said investigate before you work there or even put your children there! I honestly don’t want to see anyone else suffer the a my family has suffered due to the lack of Professionalism. Update “ today my daughter went to say hello to kids and she was greeted by a staff member rudely very unprofessional telling my daughter she will see her at 12 to fight. And staff member making false accusations due to owner telling her false information. Owner calls police on my daughter and myself ( I haven’t even reached out to this lady or spoken to her ) granted my daughter and her friend should not be there since they don’t work there. This place is very unprofessional now my daughter is getting threatened ( threats on a person with a mental diagnosis) mind you the daycare has children in it. I was told that the lady that works there now with children told my daughter and her friend to meet at the wawa at 12 what kind of person does this. Also the owner of the daycare has been talking negative about all ex employees. My daughter was falsely accused of something and it was proven that it did not happen, which means why would this new employee who never worked with my daughter start yelling at her and telling her she abused kids. My daughter came home crying because she said that was not true. I know a person who worked there and was close to this lady she accused her of steeling not doing her job correctly which was incorrect. My kids who are adults now told me some things that happened in there when they were kids. Granted my kids were never abused hit once and that was handled immediately! The only reason this review is going out is because I do not want anyone to experience any of these issues.

My granddaughter has been going here for 1 year, and what a difference a year makes. She is talking more and knows the letters and numbers by sight. She has also become more outgoing. Thank you Davis-Holland Learning Center for taking care of my grandgirl!!!

Didn’t follow meal plans, allowed my baby sleep upright in a chair, inconsistent communication via the app, inconsistent billing, increased prices exponentially, applied unreasonable charges for re-registration after 9 months of care. Overall greedy and questionable care.
