I would strongly caution families of color, immigrants, and minority families about this school. Unfortunately, our experience made it clear why their diversity is extremely low. I never expected to encounter this here, but we were met with behavior that felt discriminatory and deeply unfair. What we experienced was not isolated—it reflected a broader, systemic problem within the school’s culture. There is a much better option right next door—Happy Day Care—which exceeds this school in price, quality, and cleanliness. If you are looking for a truly inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment for your child, I highly recommend choosing elsewhere.

The universe really worked its magic when we found DDDC in the midst of the pandemic - now both our kids have grown up there! Our oldest son is autistic and they were so cool, confident, and accommodating as we navigated diagnosis and therapy with him, even welcoming his private 1:1 therapist and MECP staff to join him in the classroom. Our youngest started in the infant house and Brandi and staff were incredible at keeping us updated with cute photos. Emily in the Otters classroom has been so clever and creative with both boys, teaching them how to be caring community members and fostering relationships and connections between parents whose kids connect so they can have playdates beyond the classroom. Speaking of parents - you can really measure the quality of their care by the wonderful families they attract. Literally every parent I meet is a gem and I'm happy to have my kids grow up alongside theirs (and have made some awesome friends of my own!). Merry and Tara run a tight ship and are so communicative and flexible - they always answer the phone immediately and address any concerns with their eternal patience. I adore them. Scott and Kelsey do a great job retaining their staff - this family owned business attracts career caregivers and you won't find a rotating door of randos. I could go on and on about how practical and fantastic they are... don't sleep on this unassuming daycare - wooden toys, overpriced montessori branding, and organic lunches have nothing on good ol'fashioned daycare and preschool from wonderful people and everyday kids. With love, the Poiriers

I can’t say enough positive things about DDDC. They go above and beyond for my kids, especially my son who has severe allergies. The staff takes his safety seriously, but what really stands out is how much they care about his experience. They don’t just make sure he’s safe; they make sure he’s included, happy, and they support his learning of self advocacy in regards to his allergies. That kind of care is rare. Both of my children are genuinely loved here. And honestly, that’s all any parent wants: to know their children are not only safe but truly loved at the place where they spend such a significant amount of their early childhood. This place is something special.

I cannot say enough good things about DDDC, and we feel incredibly lucky to have snagged a spot here. From the very first day (back in Dec '23), we have felt welcomed, supported, and truly cared for. The folks working here are incredible- warm, communicative and kind. There’s such a thoughtful focus on education, while also championing play, creativity, and wonder. My kid comes home happy, curious, and excited to tell me all the all the "toddler tea". It’s very clear that everyone here genuinely cares about the kids (and families!) they work with. The communication is thoughtful, the environment feels safe and warm, and the love they put into their work shines through in everything they do. The pricing is also pretty darn competitive. I feel so lucky to have my preschooler enrolled here, and it gives me real peace of mind knowing they are thriving in this space. We are deeply grateful to be part of this community!

The teachers and owners of this daycare are so compassionate and caring, and my daughter has loved attending daycare here in the toddler building. She’s learned so many new skills, made new friends, and always comes home with a creative project that uses her new skills. As a parent, the teachers and owners have been so understanding and worked with me to always make sure my daughter and I were getting any support we needed during a difficult time. I fully recommend this daycare to anyone looking for safe and compassionate childcare.
