What Parents Say

However, negative reviews describe serious concerns including alleged harassment, inadequate potty training support, and a case involving misidentification of Mongolian spots as abuse resulting in child removal.
Do not let your child go to Crockett Early Head start because this month I've been harassed by them and now I pull my son out of that stupid place I'm still being harassed if I wish I did my research about that place because if I did research and learn more about it I wouldn't put my child in it I regret it the only good thing I liked about that school was his first teacher and that was it the rest it's a terrible School his second teacher wouldn't even help him to be potty trained and honestly I don't mind at this point is doing it by myself or have my fiance helped me so always do your research first if you're going to put your child in a program or in a school all I'm saying don't do what I did do your research first they have called CPS twice and the cops ones for lies
I’m so glad my daughter was accepted here. Through them I was able to go to Radiology school and graduate. They were always so sweet to my daughter, I knew she was in great and safe care there so i could focus on my degree.
My son absolutely loves this school and his teacher. I'm so thankful they were able to take him in when they did. I can't wait to see the growth child brings home everyday. This school is truly a blessing.
I went to elementary school here from 1986 till 1990. Crockett Crocodiles.. Back then it was a pretty cool school and a totally safe neighborhood. My mother also went to school here back in the early 50s. One of our family homes was right around area and i have great memories of that school and the whole area there around Catclaw Creek. Im so glad to see its being used as a school again as it was not being used for quite a few years there. This school is a historic piece of old Abilene and in my opinion should remain a part of the local memory for as long as possible.
My child attended this head start a few years back and absolutely the worst experience I ever had with a daycare they definitely put a hold on my life as a person I was a minor at the time and the school had me arrested from the school and stated my child was being abused and that she had bruises all over her back the cops forcedfully took me out the building in front of my child no one called my parents no one new were I or my child were for a day and a hafe My child was tooken from me all because a teacher was not educated on black people a whole year went by before I got my child back just for the case to be ruled out due to these alleged bruises only being Mongolian spots something that's common in mixed children I would never recommend they make it seem like a safe haven for single moms but I never had that for me and my child.
