So I loved this school until I had a very bad experience with them. I inquired about my sons progress report and the response from his teacher Tess was that he got low marks under the social skills category because his brain was different and that he "would struggle with social skills forever". My son has never been diagnosed with anything nor has there ever been an examination by a qualified professional. Frankly even if a child is neurodivergent saying something like that to a parent would still be inappropriate and insensitive. I wouldn't have minded her telling me to get an evaluation but to decide and tell a mother that her child will struggle with something for the rest of his life is limiting, unprofessional and cruel. I would not recommend this school and would not send a child there.
