Curious Explorers Child Development Center

Our young boy joined here very young (4 months) and has been at Curious Explorers for a year now. We couldn’t speak more highly of this place. The teachers are so devoted to each child and go beyond the call of duty to make it safe, happy and full of learning. From baby yoga, sign language, music lessons to their community activities- this is a special place. I never thought we would be so comfortable with daycare but they look after him like he is their own. He runs in there with you every day and you can also see the joy in graduated kids who are so excited to go back and say hello to their old teachers. We feel so lucky to have found Curious Explorers and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare.

Curious Explorers has taken care of our 2 children over the past 2.5 years. We have had a wonderful experience there. They engage the children in a variety of different activities, and are extremely knowledgeable about age milestones, incorporating all kinds of creative play and classroom exercises which test and strengthen their abilities. Most importantly, my children really like being there. My oldest is now in PreK3 and likes to go back to CE every day to pick up his brother, just so he can say hi to the teachers there. We are especially fans of Ms. Sandy in the 1-2s classroom. She is an absolute rockstar, but there are several great instructors that we are excited for our 1yo to experience. They do a lot of outdoor instruction on walks and at the playground. Also, they serve breakfast, lunch, and snack!!! no need to pack anything- phew. We have met a wonderful community of parents there, and that has been very encouraged by the owner, who puts on several events throughout the year for families, including a showstopping graduation each summer.

We can't say enough wonderful things about Curious Explorers! We've sent our two kids to the 14th street location for over a year and have been so impressed with the level of care, attention, and instruction they receive. The teachers are excellent and truly care, the curriculum is really impressive, and the administration is super responsive. They have an easy-to-use app that makes communication a breeze and provide pictures and updates throughout the day. They also go above and beyond to create a sense of community, hosting events, field trips, and even parent-teacher conference days. We looked at many centers in the area and I can honestly say that we're so glad we chose this one!

I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate Curious Explorers. I began sending my son there when he was one and a half years old. I was a nervous first time mother, and we were still in Covid. Curious Explorers’s teachers put my mind at ease. They were safe, compassionate, and patient with my son, myself, and our family. I always knew that he was being taken care of and really cared for. Every teacher invest so much time into all of the kids. It is more than a daycare. It is a school and a family. There was nothing more comforting than knowing that my child was in a safe learning environment, and that he was actually learning. From learning his colors, alphabet, numbers, to falling in love with reading and learning to put sentences together, to even now, identifying the letters in his name and the letters for all of his classmates’ names. He also learned a lot about nature, transpiration, helping out and cleaning up, and more. The learning was hands on and exciting. I loved that they sent many pictures in the app so I always knew what he was learning and doing, and I could talk with him about his day. I am forever grateful for the experience of being at Curious Explorers and if I have anymore children, they will absolutely be going there. I couldn’t recommend it it highly enough. Curious Explorers was our home away from home for 3 years. We happily sent out son there starting at age 1 - he learned to walk, talk, count, sing ABCs, and so much more there due to the dedication and excellence of the staff. He's very prepared for preK and maybe even ahead of the curve in terms of preK preparation. Each day was filled with lots of fun activities, time outside, and we loved that he had 2 meals and a snack there. Taking the stress of us at night to have to plan a lunch. Each of the teachers treated my child with love and kindness every single day - he was always happy and so were we.
