What Parents Say
Cuddly Kids receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents, with most praising the owner Merci and staff for their caring, responsive approach and safe facility. Parents highlight the center's flexibility with hourly and weekly rates, individual attention to children's needs, and welcoming environment. One parent raised concerns about curriculum structure, food quality, and nap accommodations in the infant room, though they noted this was several months prior.
We recently moved to Dallas in December. I have a two year old and a three year old both girls. My children were welcomed with open arms. My daughter's had only been watched by their grandmother their entire life and they had a hard time adapting but their staff has a ton of patience with them and my daughters from time to time crying and toddler fits. My number one priority is their safety and well being during the day. Both my daughter's say their teachers are all very nice. They also have a clean facility with cameras. As a parent you can't expect it to be spotless they have toddlers running around all day as well as different aged children. Merci the owner always answers when I call and sends pictures throughout the day when requested or sometimes just because to me of the girls. I couldn't be more pleased with the care they are receiving. They are still taking temperatures and monitoring for Covid. I am very grateful and pleased with this daycare facility. Trust me taking care of children is a difficult job and they do great accommodating each child's needs individually. We give them two thumbs up.
My daughter attended this daycare for a few months and was in the baby room. I ended up getting a job working from home and no longer needed their services. Everyone was always helpful and really nice. They don't seem to have a lesson plan or curriculum of some sort for younger kids. Depending on how many kids there are sometimes I would find my daughter sleeping a bouncy chair, not a crib or pack n play. I also brought my own food because I didn't really approve of their menu. Seemed like most of the food was frozen junk food. I only witnessed kids eating snacks like nachos and pizza rolls. Not very nutritious snacks. Anyway I only came here because it was the best I could find within my budget and not have to be put on a waiting list, needed care right away. I am a little late on writing this post as my daughter hasn't attended here in several months. Perhaps things have changed.
We LOVE Cuddly Kids!! Mercy and the staff are so loving and caring to every single child. My son started going to the daycare when he was 4 years old and he is now 7 and still gets excited to go for a drop in. Mercy and her staff always greet you with a smile upon arrival. When I come to pick up my son he usually says he isn’t ready to leave because he is having too much fun. Thank you so much Cuddly Kids!! You have been a life saver for our family. I hope to see you all soon.
Our kids have attended Cuddly Kids for several years now, and they love it! The staff is always very responsive to any questions I have & they are very patient and flexible, making our lives easier! We have not had any issues! They love the kids and watch them carefully, and always notify us of anything we need to know. They've become like family and we appreciate them so much!
I have no idea what we would have done without Cuddly Kids this year. I attempted to send my 3 year old with additional needs to DISD (big mistake). They took months to identify and place him. In the interim Cuddly Kids stepped right in with loving care. He then attended DISD for two months and everything was ok until his teacher quit. I will skip the details but again, DISD became unsafe and unhealthy for my little one. No questions asked, same day, Mersi took him in with kindness. He has thrived at Cuddly Kids and loves going there each day. They continue to work with him on writing and fine motor. He does so much better here compared to other settings because of their kindness and nurturing. He knows he’s loved and cared for when he’s here, and isn’t that what we all want for our kids. We are moving and will miss Cuddly Kids so very much. I can not express how grateful I am to Mersi and her staff this year for filling in the gap that the district should have provided him. I’m crying writing this. I don’t know what we would have done without them this year.
