I really like this school. When my daughter first started it was a tough transition for her but her teacher Miss Renata was very empathetic and helped her through it. For the past few months she has been with Miss Sandra and Miss Estephania and they are wonderful. My daughter has learned alot here and for that I am greatful.
Just posting my experience ow that time has passed and i was not brave enough to push further legal actions . My son attended this place. All teachers spoke only Spanish no english . They restraint my child with force because he was not napping My son let me know they were spanking kids .. I told the teacher to put me in the classroom to see what was going on. She said okay let's do it for 3 days after one day I saw that my son was mimicking a kid behavior that was extremely erratic. When I approached it she said kids behaviors come from home not from school. but my son was mimicking all of these kids behavior and this was not normal behavior for my child at home. when I approached her about it instead of her accepting that that's what was going on, she pushed DCF into my house told me that I needed to medicate my child and that if I did not take this route that she would call DCF. She still ended up calling DCF. They saw nothing in my home happening. OBVIOUSLY. . Dont put your child here . INSTEAD OF ACCEPTING THAT THERE'S SOMETHING GOING ON IN SCHOOL THEY WILL PUSH DCF SO THEY WON'T GET IN TROUBLE !!!!!! I approached that none of this teachers spoke English. another parent also came in complaining saying that my son is coming home speaking Spanish because nobody else speaks English in there. they do not take accountability of the issues going on in that classroom. I eventually pulled my child out. she wanted me to medicate him because he didn't want a nap.
It’s so sad that families don’t have a clue how horrible this place is for children. Kids here will be traumatized when they go to kindergarten. They want kids to be angels like of they are running a boot camp so if your child is adhd or any diagnosed condition your kid is not in good hands. The director is the worst Miriam Mercado. The city and the state should look into this place. Please share with families.
Horroble place for kids, the place close 5pm and the director was argument with me everyday to pick up my son 4 pm because the teacher should have time to clean the place. does not make sense and teachers are not certificed for work
Worse place to have a child most of the teachets are not licensed to take care of children, they did not want to work or take care of my child since he said they would leave them alone in the room during nap time, and go flirt or do innappropriate stuff with the janitor, then tbey would call me at nap time and say come get him he doesnt want to take a nap, when i comfronted them about what he keeps telling me they decide the next day to say "Your son can no longer attend our day care since we do not have to proper education for him, kick him out of that school then call dcf and act like there is an issue at home just so they wont get in trouble, the owner has connections with dcf and always gives them a call when a parent stands they ground about their kids
