I have had my children in Crowley United Methodist Preshool since 2009. My oldest is now in the second grade and I believe the education he received at CUMP gave him a great head start. I also have another that is about to graduate the TK program and has learned so much in his years at CUMP. Going into kindergarten he can already read, write, count to 100, tie his shoes and the list goes on! My youngest loves it too! He really enjoys going to class. He always comes home singing songs that he's learned, counting and telling me about colors and shapes. The teachers are wonderful! All the staff has always been very helpful and friendly.
My children have been attending Crowley United Methodist Preschool since 2002 when my oldest started in the 3's class with Mrs. Debbie and Ms. Nicole. She went on to attend the 4's and finally the Transitional Kindergarten. She is now finishing her sophomore year in high school and I feel that CUMP gave her the very best academic and social foundation. My 2nd child will graduate from TK program at CUMP a few days from now. I just dread him leaving this special place where he has been loved and treated as one of their own, while developing his reading, writing, math, social, and emotional skills. Mrs. Alice and Mrs. Button have truly fostered my son's relationship with God and he loves to share what he learns in chapel each week with us. Ms. Nicole helps to keep the kids fit and active and singing their hearts out in her awesome programs. We love our special Western Days and Splash Days and all of our holiday celebrations! The teacher/parent/school communication is open and helpful....they just do everything right. I highly recommend CUMP especially if you are looking for a TRUE preschool with that sweet, schoolhouse feel. We will definitely be back in a year with our youngest!
We have been taking our son and daughter to Crowley United Methodist Preschool (CUMP) for 3 years now and have loved every minute of it. From our very first day, the teachers have been welcoming, the facilities clean, and the instruction on point. We have also been impressed by the balance between religious instruction and academic basics, with the latter being the primary focus. Our son just finished his Kindergarten year in the public school system and it was clear that he benefitted tremendously from his time at CUMP (his Math and Reading levels were several grades ahead this year). The tuition is reasonable, the faculty and staff are professional, and the academics are strong. CUMP is definitely the place to be.
This was my first daycare experience. My child warmed up very well to the teacher who was very friendly. I also really like the director of the preschool program she is very nice! I was not scared for my child's safety at all. My baby woke up excited about going to school. It was such a relief. Sad we are moving and won't be able to attend again!
My daughter loves preschool. All the teachers I have met are kind. They really care about your child and if they are learning. I would recommend this preschool to everyone who wants to put their children in school.
