It saddens me to leave this review. I have been coming to crossroads church for a few months. In terms of the staff and volunteers, I have always felt welcome. That is from 99.99% of them. Today I am writing to complain about the 0.01%. After hearing rumors about the lead pastor Abraham Lavoi, I can not continue to support and attend this church. I do not feel safe to bring any family whatsoever and hear sermons from a pastor who does nothing but bring his own personal demons that would lead him to a chat with Chris Hansen. It saddens me deeply that a church wouldn’t conduct strong enough background checks to alleviate potential issues like this. Although I’m not 100% sure, I have also heard that they were slightly aware, yet did nothing. Be cautious. Be safe. Stay away from here if you have any morals.
Come as you are. No dress code! People are very friendly and helpful! They hear and do the word of God here. Pastor makes it easy to understand God's word. He is an example how God can use the common man.
Crossroads childcare has been a wonderful experience so far. Amysue and all the staff we've met are great, and we're looking forward to many years of care for our child(ren)
Great church preaching the straight up gospel, not some watered down version to make people feel good about themselves when they know there is something wrong in their life.
We visited one Sunday. Our child really enjoyed the children's program.
