What Parents Say
NOTE: These reviews are for a methadone/addiction treatment clinic, not a daycare center. Reviews are mixed, with most praising Dr. Soria and counselors for compassionate care, but recent negative reviews cite staff changes, administrative issues, and concerns about medical decision-making affecting patient treatment.
I've been at this clinic over 9 years. My counselor is the best. She truly cares and does a great job. Dr. Soria had been the doctor here, up until December 2024. The nurse that he told me he doesn't "trust with patients yet" and kept her in the dosing room for at least 6 months, she is now taking patients and in charge of their meds. I came in for my bottles and to have my second 1 on 1 with her. She was masked up and told the receptionist that she couldn't take me and pawned me off on another nurse practitioner! She wasn't busy, she just didn't want to be bothered, even though I booked two weeks ahead. Our only appointment, was a trainwreck. She constantly cut me off and when I told her that I carry a perfect record, WHICH I WORKED VERY HARD FOR AND IS EASILY VERIFIABLE- she snorted and looked down her nose at me like I was lying!! My blood pressure has always been very low, my whole life. Well, on this day, it was through the roof because she had me so upset!! My anxiety medication which was written by this clinic & I take 2x a day, she cut my dose from 60pills monthly to only 45. Which, causes me to run and out and I have withdrawal and blurred vision. Getting my prescription under this sub par CNP is like pulling teeth!! She treats patients like she thinks we are dirty, damaged goods and constantly runs around masked in 2025!! It would be comical if it weren't so sad. I miss Dr. Soria so much. He really cared about all of us and was a genuinely kind, good man. Everything that was so good about him is what is bad about her. I dread going to the clinic now and I used to enjoy the days I went in because it was a place with good vibes. As I understand, my position is not unique and other patients are looking to leave because of losing him & these subpar replacements. Hopefully, they change docs soon because if they don't, I really don't see how I can stay here. What was once a positive experience, has turned into a bleak, dismal chore. (in case someone from the clinic is reading this, I am talking about DR. HARRIS. she must be replaced if you don't want to see a mass walkout of patients. She truly seems to dislike addicts. I'm not sure why a nurse practitioner is called DOCTOR, by staff, though!) Other than this sub par "doc", the clinic is great. Oh, they are human. I once got my phase taken for a month because they said I missed a bottle count but no. I did not. I was never called. That's the only mistake they've made in 9 years though so, I can't be too mad. It was an inconvenience during that month but, Dr. Soria said he knew it was a mistake on their end (I told you, he was a good doctor) Other than that, the staff is always beyond kind, very courteous and really just a good group of people. It's not easy to find a good clinic but, I can't stay somewhere that I don't trust staff. So, I am looking for another clinic right now. It's not a good feeling to feel like a doctor/nurse practitioner would retaliate against me through my much needed meds. I totally feel that retaliating against a patient that doesn't like her, would be right in this woman's wheelhouse. If you're considering this clinic, her and Dr. Babbar are the only cons, on the pros vs cons list. Those two are the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
This clinic had my back all the way now people that talk bad about a clinic is because they were probably using while being in treatment I used most of my time there because I myself did not hit rock bottom until it almost killed me but they stood behind me all the way it’s the reason I am alive today they also do Suboxone so if methadone is something you don’t want but Dr.soria is an awesome doctor and the director Margaret is a very caring person. Also, our obviously the better you do the better your time will be, but that’s anywhere, so whoever is reading this if you’re considering it, I would do it get clean, save your life and live a good life.good luck
If you are an addict looking for treatment. They will work with you. Many programs to choose from, many insurance plans, or self pay options taken. I personaly love my counselor. I have been in recovery for 7 years. If i can do it so can you!
They have a awful success rate cause no one cares to do there job and make sure all paper work is in to insurance company. Can't keep appointment straight, so get those appointment cards and keep them. Gotta fight to get your medicine. And keep recording of when you got and started your meds cause it won't be long before you get treated like a junkie. And stay on top of everything cause now you'll be doing there job. Good luck if you go here I pray you make it cause it's harder to get help and clean than to stay dirty and they wonder why people don't make it. This is an every day battle and it don't give days off or ease up so we can wait for them to get around to there job.
my daughter was in Crossroads 13 days lost 10 pounds, passed out +continually vomited. No one cared. They thought she was doing it on purpose. After a visit with her doctor it was discovered her lapband WAS the problem like she told them. They didn't believe her. She was medically discharged. They told her they couldn't meet her medical needs told her caseworker she just "UPPED AND WALKED OUT OF THE PLACE!!!!" NOT so. She had to sign papers. SHAME ON YOU CROSS ROADS for NOT CARING about my daughters physical+mental health +then to lie to someone important dealing with 2 for 1 kids!!!! It was a very stressful place and not suitable for drug recovery!
