Crossing Borders Bilingual Academy

I have nothing but positive things to say about Crossing Borders Rice Village and recommend it to any parents I talk to. I have one kid that graduated from CB and another that is soon graduating. I enrolled at CB for their Mandarin Immersion program and I am glad I did. Miss Jessica has been their teacher and she is amazing!! She is very structured and that has done wonders for my kids. They thrive under her education and I am so happy. She is truly a children's whisperer and has an incredible ability to connect with my kids, make them feel comfortable while keeping them in line, and bring out the best in them. My oldest enjoys re-visiting at pick-up. I never worry about my kids when I drop them off at CB. The other staff, admin and security are also wonderful. They are so inviting at drop-off and pick-up and I enjoy all the activities and events they have throughout the year. We have been there for about three years and I am amazed and happy about how little turnover I've seen. I will be sad to say goodbye when my youngest graduates but I will continually recommend CB, especially the mandarin class and Miss Jessica, no question about it! Thank you CB for all you do!! They are also great about posting pictures and updates of our little ones throughout the day. I appreciate it!

We have been part of Ms. Jessica’s Mandarin class since August 2023. My oldest daughter started first, and later my younger daughter continued in the program and is still enrolled today. Both of my girls truly love the school, especially the Mandarin class, where they have been exposed to structured and engaging instruction in both Mandarin and math. Every morning when I drop them off, I feel completely at ease knowing they are receiving attentive care and a strong educational foundation at Crossing Borders International School.

My son is in Ms. Jessica's Mandarin class and he absolutely loves going to school. He loves his teacher and classmates and comes home from school eager to tell stories about his day. Ms. Jessica is so affectionate and caring - you can tell she takes pride in being an educator. All the staff at CBIS are great. They always greet you with smiles and put together amazing activities for the kids. Highly recommend!

We couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll our son at Crossing Borders (Rice Village) 2 years ago. Under the direction of Mrs. Zeina, this center is far more than just a daycare. It's a genuine learning environment that nurtures not only intellect but also a deep sense of global citizenship, compassion, tolerance, and cultural curiosity. The staff and teachers are the heart of CBI. They are a dedicated, multilingual, a wonderfully warm team who manage to create a safe, consistent, and exceptionally loving atmosphere. Our son is currently in the French class with Ms. Messad and she’s a real asset to this school: she’s very kind, warm, nurturing, cheerful, and attentive to each child’s needs. His little sister will surely join Crossing Borders next year. Highly recommended!

Over the past year, we have had a wonderful experience with Ms Jessica in the mandarin class! She is so experienced and has a such a great way of implementing structure, while still being cognizant to individual student needs and how best to approach different personalities/situations. My child absolutely loves Ms Jessica! A common weekend question is when can I see Ms Jessica again? I have seen him thrive from both an academic and personal development perspective. I really appreciate her willingness to consistently work together on addressing some of those development milestones. We have been so lucky to have her!
