Ms Mary Ellen and her staff are AMAZING!! My daughter was there for 3 years and loved every minute of it!! She makes learning fun by fostering a hands on environment!! Her curriculum, more than prepares children for kindergarten. The children have a lot of fun, whether it be playing in the snow in winter, watching baby chicks hatch in the spring, running through the sprinkler in the summer, picking a pumpkin from the garden in fall or the weekly musical enrichment!! We were sad to leave but I am confident my daughter is ahead of the game for kindergarten, all thanks to Crescent Day Nursery and Ms Mary Ellen and her staff!!!
My Daughter has been attending Crescent Day Nursery for a few years. A five star rating does not do this child care the justice it deserves. When I first brought my daughter there she had previously attended a daycare in the area that I felt was not taking proper care and time with my child. Crescent Day Nursery was EVERYTHING I was looking for. Mrs. Mary Ellen is a fantastic and devoted teacher with years of expertise and heartfelt, passionate care. This woman is an absolute saint and if you are looking for a childcare provider that is trustworthy and dedicated with a curriculum that is geared toward preparing your child for kindergarten and good citizenship, look no further for value and satisfaction. From a warm motherly relationship, to handcrafted and healthy oriented snacks, to creative projects and age appropriate curriculum that is custom tailored to the needs of the child, my best recommendation goes to this daycare. Worth every single penny and this is coming from a parent who has two children that went to multiple childcare centers. In my experience, this one was my absolute favorite and receives my highest recommendation.
This is best place for kids! My daughter went to miss Mary Ellen for around 3 years. She is the best teacher you could ask for! Mrs. Mary Ellen is a fantastic teacher with years of expertise, she provides such passionate care, love and support to little ones they would be off to great start in life
My husband went here! Now my 3rd son is starting. She is in a great neighborhood. The backyard is gigantic with so much for the children to do! Every year there's a cute special graduation. It's a small school but she has all the necessities and follows all the MA school guidelines. We live in Cumberland and when both my boys started kindergarten the teachers were blown away and asked where they attended prek. They came out knowing their site words, math core curriculum. I can't say enough. Not a highly advertised school. Cozy and the teachers are extremely patient. She starts with kids 2.9 years. So much for them to learn. All the newest tech knowledge mixed with some old style including letters and stamps. Building blocks, pretend play, computers. Prices are unbeatable!! Highly recommended.
