Creative World School Oakstead

When we first started, my son was very upset and cried every day. We tried many different things and even asked the teachers that if he became extremely distressed, they should call us so we could take him home. At home we speak Romanian, while at daycare only English was spoken, so this was a huge shock and adjustment for him at just 1 year and 8 months old. The teachers went above and beyond. They wrote words in Romanian and translated them into English using Google, and they began using basic needs in Romanian—like water, food, and restroom—so he could understand and feel safe. From that moment on, he stopped crying. He learned English incredibly fast and never cried asking to see his parents again. Another amazing experience was how leadership supported us during an emergency trip to our home country that required us to be away for an extended period of time. When we returned, our spot was still available. Leadership truly met us halfway, understood our situation, and showed us so much compassion, for which we are deeply grateful. It’s moments like these that truly make this place amazing.

We have loved every minute of our time at Creative World. They’re SO clean, organized, incredibly communicative, etc. We’ve experienced several daycares (due to moves) - this one has been our favorite. Every staff member we’ve spoken with has been welcoming, kind, and so positive in every encounter. The engagement couldn’t be higher and they make it so easy for us, as parents, to be really involved in the curriculum and day to day. Our time here has been spent in the 3’s classroom. Our daughter’s behavior became more respectful and kinder at home. She learned to communicate her feelings more appropriately and become less reactive. Her teachers were always so positive and patient. They are CONSTANTLY learning and they’ve made it so much fun. Our daughter, being 3, had never spoken about what she “wanted to be when she grew up”. Because of her teachers and the environment here at Creative World, she wants to be a teacher and plays pretend constantly at home.

Parents, be warned about Creative World Oakstead. My son was bitten four times in just 2.5 weeks at this daycare — and the first two incidents were never even reported to me. I only discovered them myself and had to bring it to management’s attention. I was then told the child responsible would be removed — yet that did not happen. My son continued to be exposed to the same dangerous situation, and was bitten again. My wife pressed for answers, the teacher involved told me these bites were “not preventable,” and gave me attitude for advocating for my child’s safety. The manager promised a meeting to address these very serious concerns — and then blatantly avoided us for a full week. This center demonstrated a complete lack of accountability, transparency, and basic responsibility. Failing to report injuries, failing to follow through on promised action, and knowingly keeping children in harm’s way is inexcusable. I pulled my child from this unsafe environment and I will be filing an official licensing complaint. I would never recommend Creative World Oakstead to any parent who values their child’s safety.

Truly should be shut down. Enrolled my child here for one day and picked them up screaming and crying bc they were not fed ANY food all day. My wife nor I were not notified once of this during the day. Immediately unenrolled them and went elsewhere where my child is safe and happy. BEWARE parents please do not trust Kareem or anyone there with your kids safety they will fail.

Love this school! The leadership team is always willing to listen and make changes if needed. Also the teachers are great
