Creative World Fishhawk

Back in March of 2024, we made the difficult decision to pull our amazing child out of this daycare and enroll her at the wonderful Brandon Montessori instead. Our daughter experienced repeated racial incidents with another child about six months older. She told us the other child said her mom told her “no Black girls” and even threatened to “shoot [my daughter] and her mommy.” All of this occurred in Doris’ class. When we raised these concerns, Doris defended the other child, claiming she “doesn’t have the speech to articulate such things.” Despite bringing this to staff and the director, it was never taken seriously. The regional director even said, “In Florida we have the right to bear arms,” when I voiced concerns about a 3-year-old talking about gun violence. We eventually moved our daughter to Brandon Montessori, where she is safe, happy, and thriving. No family should have to fight to have their child protected.

We absolutely love this school! We have tried some other schools in the area and my daughter has never felt comfortable at any until now. Her teacher Mrs. Doris is the best! She truly cares about her kids and it shows. They make sure the kids are always learning, the curriculum is so creative and challenging. Our daughter turned 3 in August and Mrs. Doris already had her writing her name! She always kept her room so clean and picked up, and her communication with us regarding our daughter was the best! We truly love this school and Mrs. Doris so much!

My child has been going to Creative World for 5 months, she absolutely loves it. Although all her teachers have been wonderful, I have to give a special shout-out to Ms. Doris. My daughter always talks about how much fun she has in her class and is always eager to return the next day. Ms. Doris is a wonderful teacher, very professional and truly cares for the children under her care. It is truly amazing seeing how much my child has thrived in her class.

From the moment I stepped in, I felt an overwhelming sense of relief and excitement knowing my child was in the best hands possible. The center excels in communication, which for any parent, is a huge deal. They genuinely care for every child, ensuring that not only are their educational needs met but also their emotional and social well-being is nurtured. The staff here is incredible, always smiling, welcoming, and ready to assist in any way they can. Ms Andrea could not be sweeter and more helpful, she is such a heart-warming way to start (and end) our days. A special shoutout to Ms. Doris, who has been phenomenal with her active communication with parents. Her dedication is clearly a cornerstone of her classroom's success. It's no wonder my child has thrived under her guidance. Ms. Doris creates a safe, kind, and structured environment that balances love and discipline perfectly. It's a loving, supportive, no-nonsense space where children can truly flourish. I can't thank Creative World - FishHawk and Ms. Doris enough for making such a positive impact on our lives. It's a place where I leave my child each day knowing they're loved, cared for, and in the best place to grow. Thank you for everything!

My son has been attending Creative World for 2 years now! It’s an amazing place full of love and patience. Ms. Doris has done a wonderful job with our little one! She’s a great communicator, loving, and really cares for all of the kiddos in her class! It has been an absolute pleasure seeing my 3 yr old strive in her classroom!
