Creative Starts Childcare

I can't say enough wonderful things about creative corner! it is clear that this school is more than just a place to learn. it's a nurturing environment where children thrive. The teachers are warm, kind, and incredibly attentive, always making sure each child feels safe, valued, and encouraged. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, blending play with educational experiences. My child has made amazing progress in just a short time.

My grandson, Brady, graduated almost a year ago from Texas A & M University, & it all started at Creative Corner on Audrey Lane. I was a teacher/administrator at a nearby elementary school, so it was a top priority for my daughter & me to find the BEST pre-school for Brady. We didn’t want just a babysitter but a school which actually TAUGHT & would help prepare him for kindergarten. We found just that in Creative Corner!!! Being an educator myself, I was pretty picky about what I was looking for, but everything at Creative Corner went above and beyond my expectations…..the leadership, teachers, curriculum, activities, organization, atmosphere, etc. Today, Brady is in outside sales at a wonderful company. Thank you, Creative Corner, for giving a Nana peace of mind many years ago! It’s wonderful to see that y’all are still making a difference in so many lives! Cindy Stephens

Where to begin with this place. My daughter had a terrible experience here. The “caregivers” were NOT caring at all. Sad to see that that has not changed. The owner allowed her untrained staff to try to tell me that my daughter had a learning disability AT THREE YEARS OLD. She was just a quiet child who was dealing with separation anxiety. The curriculum was not developmentally appropriate and they were taking kids outside on days where it was too cold with no option for them to stay inside if they didn’t like the cold. My daughter cried every day for the short time she was here. I took her back to her old day care where she was loved. My experience was some time ago but my daughter’s recent accomplishments have reminded me that people don’t define your success. I get that some have had a good experience here. We did not. Do your research before you enroll your child here. Not everyone is impressed.

My son went to CCW since he was 2.5 years old through Kinder. The staff was absolutely amazing and my son was well advanced and ready for 1st. His 1st grade teacher was IMPRESSED to have a student start school on a 2nd grade reading level!!! They have structure in which most students thrive on.

Creative Corner has been a staple in East Harris County since I was a little boy. I am 44 now, and even I attended CC when I was in Elementary. The owners have done an exceptional job year in and year out with this daycare. I am so happy, now my niece has been going here for 3 years and she has loved every minute of it. It is very uncommon, that a 4-5 yr old after a Dr. appt wants to go back to school...but she did. This says Creative Corner is very caring about each and every one of there kiddos. The staff there (everyone) is so caring and treats each kid like their own. I have been able to attend a few events their with my niece, and the building is always so active and fun! Heck, even I didn't want to leave. My niece is now heading to 1st grade (tears), but if it was up to her...she would not move one. Creative Corner is one of the oldest and established daycares/schools around and it says so much that every year, they are at capacity. I wouldn't even think twice, if my kids were still this young. A wonderful owner, a great staff and each kid that comes out is so prepared!!
