Creative Play Learning Center

We used Creative Play for over 7 years-from the time my son was 6 months old to when my daughter went off to UPK. The teachers love these littles as their own and I feel grateful to be able to have found women that took such care of my kids. Both of my children flourished under their direction. I highly recommend Creative Play to anyone in the Amherst/Getzville area looking for childcare and can’t say enough good things about our experience there.

Creative Play is the best daycare we could find for our son. All of the staff are very caring, thoughtful, and professional. We never had to worry about anything after dropping him off. They take the time to help the children learn and develop with various activities and their on site playground area is really nice and shaded. We are very happy with our experience! The directors are incredible at their jobs. We moved to this daycare after a very bad experience by another nearby daycare chain where they had severe staffing issues. Not once did we experience an impactful staff turnover at Creative Play in over 2 years with this place. The teachers took care of my son like he was one of their own. I am an ex-science teacher and my wife is a literacy specialist in Williamsville - this place is worth your attention.

I would NOT recommend this Daycare. My son was there for one day. They claimed that he wouldn’t listen little Did they know I watched their camera for most of the day keeping an eye on him. They also were frustrated because he didn’t wanna sleep and one of their teachers literally tried, forcing him to sleep and holding him down on his mat Or cot cause I watched it again on the camera. Not every child wants to nap and to get frustrated and try to force a kid down is unacceptable. They also had the kids just sit there for some time in front of a tablet instead of doing things with the kids. The Director was very unwilling to work with me with anything claimed that my child was a problem for the one day that he was there.

We had very pleasant experience with creative play. His teachers Mrs Marel and Miss Ari are great. He was only there for 5 months and made significant progress in his academics as well as social skills. His teacher listened to my concerns and worked with me. My son enjoyed his time in creative play learning center.

We have only been with Creative Play Learning Center for about 3 months but I wanted to write this review because we are very happy there. We send both our 6 month old and 3 year old sons to Creative Play. The teachers and staff provide great services to our boys. My 3 year old comes home singing new songs every day and talks positively about his experiences. I can tell that my 6 month old is well cared for and loved by the staff, just my their conversations with me and by his positive mood when I pick him up. We came from a family daycare and I was worried about transitioning into a more traditional daycare but the staff have been extremely welcoming and caring with my children and us since the first visit.
