Creative Minds Learning Center-Woodstock

I am so thankful for our time at Cadence Academy. Both my daughter and son attended preschool here and I cannot express my gratitude enough. Everyone was so friendly, knowledgeable and kind. One of my kids has learning differences and his teacher and the rest of the staff were so committed, gentle and consistent with him. We felt so safe and loved. When we walked through the front door in the mornings, it felt like a cozy, familial environment. I knew my kids were safe and adored. My son is now in kindergarten and he keeps asking to go back and visit. I highly recommend Cadence Academy.

Everyone here at the school is great. That speaks volumes when you’re trying to find a place that you can trust for your kids to go to school. They provide all food including breakfast and snacks. That was far and beyond a luxury that was so helpful. My kiddo even started to like foods she didn’t like previously because Cadence Academy made it cool! My kid did part time over the summer and a part of me wishes she was returning in the fall. The only negative thing was that I was charged back to back a different price than we were quoted (more) It caused quite a bit of stress and confusion in several avenues. They offered to give me a discounted rate since I’m a single mom, but I had already toured and found a different school by that time. I can say that it was honest miscommunications and they have the very best intentions here. I wish we had a chance to be there longer because the families there have created a very sweet local community!

Cadence Academy White Hall does a decent job preparing kids for kindergarten with structured learning and fun social activities. Healthy meals are provided, and the curriculum includes honest, measurable evaluations. However, frequent staff and admin turnover created disruption, and the weekly summaries about children are often vague. Billing issues were also a problem—late fees during holidays and inaccurate portal balances. For the $1,100/month cost, you’d expect better transparency, including cameras (which they don’t have). Great potential, but some key operational areas need improvement.

Estera is absolutely wonderful. She is an amazing manager. She’s very responsive via calls and email. She keeps you updated on school events and happenings. She really picks the right staff for her center. Her staff is caring and great with all the kiddos. My kiddo adjusted well, because teachers like Ally, Maggie, and Cathy would greet him in the mornings and they would had a fun activity planned for him. And he would ease into the day. I also loved that they did walking field trips to the park across the street from the center. This is a great place for kids.

We have been thrilled with our experience at Cadence Academy Brentwood! The staff is welcoming and inclusive, the space is colorful and playful, and the director is very organized and communicative. My son absolutely loves coming to school and we get the sweetest pictures and updates sent to us throughout the day, which gives us such peace of mind. Since joining Cadence Academy he is more social with other kids and has picked up many new skills. We cannot wait to see how much he is able to grow and develop as he continues with Cadence! Highly recommend!
