The teachers and staff are incredibly caring, trustworthy, and dedicated. We feel completely at ease knowing our children are in such capable and compassionate hands. It feels like the kids “second home” when they show us their artwork, personalized cubbies, toys inside and out, even baking things during the day or catching butterflies etc. We are so grateful for the amazing people at the Ark of Londonderry who make it what it is. — A Grateful Parent ❤️
Sent all three kids to the Ark of Londonderry for years….As parents, there is nothing more important than knowing your kids are safe, loved, and nurtured when you're not with them. From the moment we walked into The Ark of Londonderry, we knew we had found the place to leave our little ones for the day! This proves true time and time again…The teachers and staff at The Ark are more than caregivers—they are an extension of our family. They are literally raising our kids with us and learning their faults and talents! The staff in Londonderry have kindness, patience, and genuine love for our kids which shine through in every game, project, or song they do together. They have built trust with us, we never have to worry. We are endlessly grateful to each and every teacher and staff member who plays a role in growing our kids emotionally, socially, and academically. Thank You, FROM A GRATEFUL FAMILY !
We brought our child to school this morning and didnt drop her off. She will not be returning. We have no plans, and I will likely lose my job... but I would be a terrible parent if I continued to send my kid here. We have had countless instances of neglect. Initially, we brought up our concerns (my child went 3.5, and 4 hours without a change various times, I picked her up with a DRY blowout one day that I had to peel off her bum, and she also went hours without a bottle, various times, two weeks in a row, even after confronting them). We had a meeting with the director, regional director, and founder (who claimed to have flown up from the Carolinas just for this because 'it's so serious to us')... things went well for a few weeks after that. Was supposed to have a f/u with the regional director two weeks later, crickets. They will say its bc she was pregnant (they have an excuse for everything)... but she was still around. 🙄 A few weeks ago my child, once again, went 3.5 hours without a change and 4.5 without a bottle. Yesterday, they last fed her a bottle at ONE. I pick her up between 5 and 530 daily. This morning, they couldn't find the bottle they never fed her.... her teachers absolutely did not gaf either... and then, all of a sudden they found it in the warmer. SO not only do they neglect children, not feed or change them.. they clearly don't clean either. Additionally, they had my 9 month old feeding herself purees... which she can't do... she comes home covered in puree daily, ruining every outfit (despite the fact the I send a long sleeve shirt bib daily that they refuse to use). Also... all of the 5 star reviews on here are from the teachers. We pulled our child today immediately, they lost a new family that was about to put their deposit down today, and they lost a family from Tilton that we shared the story with and today will be their child's last day. They were already on edge bc their child is afraid of his damn teacher. You will also see all over the internet that their hooksett center had a child found roaming the parking lot by another parent, and the teachers had no idea. This isn't just this one location with a history of neglecting children, this is company culture. They do not care about your children. Do not send your precious babies here. There is a reason they always have openings, when every other daycare has a waitlist...
I love the teachers at Ark Londonderry, they are very kind, always smiling. You can really see that they love what they do, I have my two daughters there and they are very happy. I have never had any problems with anyone there. My two daughters are developing very well,I love all the activities they do and how they have a curricular school protocol like.
My son started here as a newborn until I could get him in with my employer childcare. Few years later I was seeking new employment and the security of a new center with the times and long wait lists and we ended up back right where we started, now with both our kids! The teachers are wonderful and know each of the kids independently. We will miss our Ark of Londonderry family when my daughter wraps up her time in the next two years.
