What Parents Say
Creative Learning Kids CDC receives mixed reviews. Four parents praise the caring staff and positive experiences, while two parents report serious concerns including staff inattentiveness, use of unapproved sleep spray on children without parental consent, poor food quality, and inadequate educational programming.
This isn’t the fanciest facility, but the staff here make up for it. I can tell they really love my son. My 2-year old son‘s been here for a short amount of time, and so far it has been a great experience.
Parents save your kids from this place! The teachers/care givers don’t care for the kids. I intended on buying the building beside this place. And was looking out the window at the kids playing outside. ALL the teachers were on their phones, the entire time. One little boy was being town sand at by two others who were laughing at him. He was crying and fussing that he had sand all over him. He walked up to two teachers who were on their phones, crying, scratching, and they paid NO attention. He finally looked down and walked away. They neglect these kids. And get paid to be on their phones. This place needs to be inspected by the child authorities. Parents save your kids, this place doesn’t care for your kids!
I would give this place zero stars if I could. We originally chose this daycare because of its location to our house and its good reviews and A+ ABC Quality Rating. Back in august 2023, my two boys (4 and 22 months) attended this daycare for less than a month. They were miserable and my toddler would always come home so lethargic and cranky. At first we attributed this to him adjusting to going to daycare for the first time, but I had a gut feeling that something wasn’t right. When I brought their blankets home to wash them, they had this overpowering scent on them. I asked my 4 year old if they did something to their blankies and he said that they spray something on it. When Ms. Felicia, the director, was confronted about this, she openly admitted to us that she uses Dr. Teal’s sleep spray to help them nap, and even showed my husband the bottle (which was labeled ages 3+). We immediately reported them to OHAN who came the next day to interview her. Ms. Felicia was initially deceptive to the investigator but eventually admitted to using the melatonin spray without parental consent. It took two weeks for my son (who was not even two at the time) to return to his normal self!! Not only that, but they served poor quality food. Majority of the staff seemed like they did not want to be there and should not be working with children. My other son was in the first steps 4K program but did not learn anything. He said all they did was play all day. Their 4K teacher quit right before the school year so Ms. Felicia and Ms. Rhonda were “helping out” until they hired a replacement. This place is a joke and I can’t believe they are still open. We were lucky enough to find another daycare to take them in with short notice and they are learning so much and thriving. Please do not send your children to this ghetto excuse for a daycare.
This is an amazing place. I recommend them to anyone thats looking for child care.
I love this place, is a family, a second home for my child. Thank you so much!!!
