My babies have been attending this learning center for 3 years now, and we have been so blessed to have such caring and professional people taking care of them! The staff is like a family to me and my girls! They love my babies the same way they love their own children! Biting is an issue in every childcare facility because some children bite as a way to communicate unfortunately, and I am sure management here would be open to feedback and suggestions on handling the children who bite....also, some wonderful people who begin working at a childcare facility may realize that this line of work is not right for them, and they move on, which is why the turnover rate is high at childcare facilities. No place is perfect, but I feel like the staff here has done a pretty good doggone job taking care of my babies!!
Bright Ideas Enrichment is such a great place! I have never been to a place where the teachers work so hard for their kids! All of the teachers do an amazing job preparing fun and educational lessons for the kids! I love walking down the hallway and seeing all the beautiful art projects the kids create! In the last few months the children have become so proud of what they are learning and the artwork they are creating! In the last few months so many incredible changes have taken place! I look forward to continuing to see how Bright ideas changes in the future. I love the Bright Ideas Family.
I am so impressed with the wonderful turnaround this center has had! The new director has really put in some hard work to make incredible changes. I agree with previous reviews on how frustrating it was when the center was closing down for Covid and I am SO happy to see the drastic changes that have been made to address this problem. They really seem to be making every effort they can to keep the exposure between classes to a minimal; I have seen for myself the extra precautions they are taking with cleaning, daily temperature checks, and they are even doing everything they can to keep the different classes separated while playing on the playground! I also want to acknowledge and thank the new director for her diligence in finding new staff that are so caring and knowledgeable. I had no idea that my kids were spending their day with an uncredentialled teaching staff previously. I am happy that my babies are getting the best care and education in the area!
My son has been in daycare since he was 6weeks old. We have never had any behavioral problems. In fact his old daycare asked me when I was having another because my son was so well behaved. We stared at bright ideas when my son was a year old because we had moved. At first we didn't have any problems. However within about 30 days we called a meeting with his teacher and director because we were getting reports that our 1yo was "aggressive". We just put it as a phase but he got worse and not better. So finally when he was 23mo old we were able to move him to another daycare. Now we didn't move him to another daycare because our son was misbehaving. We finally moved him because within 2mo the day care closed twice for a week because of covid. However the daycare took absolutely no precautions. Another time they closed for 3 days because they didn't have enough staff. Also within 1 year we went through 4 directors. Since the first day that my son is had been at the new daycare we have no behavior problems and when his dad picks him up he runs at him screaming daddy and is super happy. At bright ideas he would throw toys and run to the nearest child and push them whenever we picked him up. But the most concerning thing is that when we went to pick up his crib sheets and clothes from bright ideas there was blood on them. Don't know if it's even his blood. Furthermorewhile my son was in their care he was very combative about getting his bum wiped. 3 days at the new daycare and now I can change his poopy diaper without a fight. We knew they were incompetent for a while now, but we didn't think they were dangerous to our son until we moved him and he is like a different child. The only positive about this daycare is their location and long hours. I do believe his 1yo teacher was good but she's not there the whole day. We are driving 20 minutes further away for his new daycare and it is 100% worth it to make sure our son is well cared for and happy.
New ownership (from January) has brought a welcome change in regards to communication, technology and administration. This care center has been well run especially during these Covid times. We are grateful to be able to utilize Creative Learning Center for not only our current child but for also allowing a former graduate to attend. As essential workers, we would be in a difficult situation if it was not for the great staff at CLC.
