I was looking for a place to take my 4 year old until they were able to start school. I toured many places, with Creative Kids being one of them. Ms. Penny walked me around and openly answered any and all questions that I had. I loved that the teachers were engaged with the children and were attentive to their needs during my tour. I was looking for a place that had a certain vibe, though I can’t really describe it—Creative Kids had it. I signed my child up and they started quickly. I became close with most of the staff during my child’s time there, having some friendships blossom in a professional manner. I looked forward to seeing what my child was doing during the day and seeing what they had worked on in their workbooks, art projects, and hearing about their day. We suddenly learned that we would no longer need the services that Creative Kids offer, and everything quickly went into effect. We recently said goodbye to the school, which was difficult. If I ever need daycare again, I would absolutely go back to Creative Kids. They have been fantastic the entire time we were there, and I knew that my child was in great hands while attending. To all the staff that came into contact with my child: thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have made such a positive impact on my child and I will always be thankful for our time there. We will miss you, and if we need you once more, we will be back! Thank you so much for everything! Ms. Penny, Ms. Amber, Ms. Cat, Ms. Jazz, Ms. Jasmine, Ms. Breanna, I’m sure I forgot someone (I am so sorry if I did), thank you for everything and for your care.

My 3 1/2 year old grandson loves this daycare, on the weekend he asks for Ms. Christy. He is so excited to go every morning. The facility is clean and the staff are all friendly.

I want to start this review off by saying the teachers, especially Ms Krissy and Ms Amber, are great. You can tell that they really care about the children, they’re engaged, and in turn the teachers love them. The issue with this school is the assistant director, Ms Janene. My child was only here for 4 weeks and I can’t even begin to name the amount of negative experiences I had with her regarding my child. She told me that I needed to get my child tested for special needs because he is hyper, as if my child was somehow different than every other hyper child in that classroom, not counting the fact that he’s 4. The teachers would let me know that he can be hyper but like any other kid and then I’d get a phone call from Janene explaining how my child is awful, he’s terrible, how foul he is, etc. She left my child unintended at the front door and then proceeded to talk foul about my child. As long as she is here, she has no type of empathy for children and if your child doesn’t have a perfect day she immediately assumes something is wrong with your child. Not to mention that her “three strikes you’re out” rule that isn’t really advertised. And if you ask what actually constitutes it, she doesn’t really give an answer and leaves it completely to her own devices. I hope that the teachers who really work hard manage to find a better place where they can really flourish because they don’t deserve the reputation that Janene is bringing them. And clearly I am not the only one who has experienced this based on previous reviews.

Our first daughter went here for 2 years. You can tell most of the teachers care very much about the kids, but they're also always exhausted and seem a little overwhelmed. More than once I'd watch the cops arresting junkies or trespassing homeless while dropping her off. My daughter stopped napping a full year before the other kids her age, and they got frustrated that she didn't want to sit quietly and read while everyone else tried to sleep. This, coupled with her wanting to climb on furniture, eventually led to them putting us on progressive discipline with a "3-Strikes-You're-Out" progressionary expulsion system. Yes, she was intractable, but she was also 3 going on 4 at the time, and I don't know any kids that are perpetually calm and well-behaved at that age. They say they want to work with you to resolve issues, but they don't have enough staff to provide any additional support, leading to every disciplinary issue being a possible inroad to that 3-step progression system. Finally, as they became more frustrated they kept trying to diagnose my daughter with all manner of behavioral disorders, in order to justify the 3-step process, despite the fact none of them are licensed or trained to do so. This concerned my wife and I so greatly that we found a behavioral therapist for our child at our own expense, only to be told after several months that she's a precocious but otherwise completely normal little girl. We had good experiences at times, and there are educators here I respect, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't also a source of constant stress wondering whether or not she was about to get kicked out because they couldn't spare a teacher to do an activity with her during nap time.

My son attended ages 2-5. I like the staff and kids seem to get along. My son was a handful. being a spider monkey and the staff really worked with me through the challenge. They have strict rules but I love the security and safety measures. All expectations are provided upon before enrollment. The complaint I would have is dealing with my fellow peer parents. Recreational activities are a personal choice. There were parents of all race dropping off children smelling like they live in a dispensary. No, the smell doesn't go away over time and my son was often in respiratory distress due to his sensitivity, being so young and exposed to this, while having asthma. I would have to wash his items after sharing close proximity with children of this lifestyle, daily. I would encourage parents to be mindful in enjoying what you do recreationally but limit your exposure to others outside your personal space. We don't all literally "Light it up". We don't light anything up in my house except our personalities, that's our high and our stove is electric...lol. Thank you if you took the time to read this.
