What Parents Say
Creative Childcare receives mostly positive feedback from parents, with many praising the teaching staff, learning environment, and special events. However, some parents report concerning issues with administrative staff communication and inadequate supervision in the infant classroom.
My son currently goes to this school for pre-k he loves it since his first day, the teachers are great at what they do.
Believe what you read regarding the administrators. Sometimes you may get a “Hello”, but most of the time, they won’t speak at all. ESPECIALLY the assistant administrator. Sometimes I would speak and she wouldn’t even say anything back. The rest of the staff are sweet though. I would not recommend Creative Childcare to anyone who has a “Pandemic Baby” like me. My baby spent the first two years of her life in the house with me. This was my first attempt to help her develop social and verbal skills. I shared this with the owner and her teacher and was assured that my baby was in the best hands. After almost two months of care, it turns out, 12-24 month class is understaffed, the teacher is overwhelmed (looking for work elsewhere according to the owner) and does not have the patience to care for all 11 children. Save yourself the trouble and just look elsewhere.
My granddaughter attended pre-k at Creative Childcare for the 22-23 school year. We had an exceptional experience with Creative Childcare. Ms. Graves strives for excellence in everything that she does. The staff and all of the teachers are phenomenal! I have been greeted with a friendly good morning every single morning at drop off. I am also always told to have a good day on the way out the door. The entire staff is clearly well trained and the students are always taught in an orderly fashion. My granddaughter struggles with ADHD and can be extremely challenging to deal with at times. I feel like they have been very accommodating and patient with both of us throughout this entire process while we tried various treatment options. Her teacher, Ms. Eshia was very forthcoming and open to discussions about the changes that she saw in her behavior. I could not have been certain about the medication working without valuable input from her teachers. I have had times (more than a few) that I was a little late coming in the mornings and/or afternoons. Each time, I was granted grace when I clearly did not deserve it, especially by Ms. Carolyn. I think that every school has to have that person that is the disciplinarian, that one person that brings the kids back to reality. None of our kids are perfect and they need structure more than ever before. Ms. Carolyn is highly skilled at getting order in the classrooms very quickly. The students have the utmost respect for her presence and I absolutely love it! The pre-k graduation ceremony was top tier! It was beautiful and so impressive. The staff put in many hours of hard work to pull it off and it showed! It was planned and coordinated better than any graduation that I have seen for young children. If I ever needed childcare again, Creative Childcare would absolutely be my first choice!
I debated giving a review but I feel it is pertinent that other parents aren't blindsided like I was. All the comments regarding the lady in the front office are accurate. On one occasion, I overheard her calling my child the wrong name and telling her to "stop crying" at drop off. (My children had been going to this daycare about a month and a half at this point). The straw that broke the camel's back though was my child falling on the playground and not being told about it until after I took her to have x-rays-because she couldn't walk. The two ladies who watched my youngest were absolute gems though.
I went to pre-school here, I am now 14. I also went to summer camp at Creative ChildCare. This place is great! It’s a lot of things to learn, teaching discipline while having fun at the same time! For me personally, just about all of the staff members were my cousins, as well as most of the children. Most of the children that I graduated preschool with I still talk to them to this day and consider them family! I would definitely put my child in this school
