Highly recommend Crabapple Academy! We switched daycares 2 years ago after being unhappy with other daycares in the area and are so happy that we made that change. Crabapple Academy feels so personal - the owner is super involved, the director is very communicative, and the teachers are so experienced and caring. My son just finished with their GA Pre-K program where he had the most amazing teachers, made the best friends, and is so prepared for kindergarten!
We currently have 3 kids at Crabapple so have experienced all ages and had a great experience. We left a not-so-great daycare experience when we started at Crabapple Academy and it was such a huge improvement for our kids and us! All schools have some staff turnovers but they’ve managed it well and have done a good job to keep us informed when there are changes.
We enrolled our child at Crabapple Academy expecting a safe and nurturing environment. We stayed even though there was rapid turnover of staff and some security issues. Our child was repeatedly harmed by another student, and despite multiple conversations with the director and owner, it took several incidents and escalation before meaningful action was taken. My child was hurt Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of the same week! Our child was so afraid to go back and we wanted some time to process it all. Instead of compassion we were given an ultimatum to respond to their email by 4pm on Friday indicating if our child was returning by Monday of the following week or the spot would be given to the next child on the waitlist. Their delayed response showed a clear lack of urgency in ensuring my child’s safety coupled with the lack of compassion after the fact. We withdrew our child and would not recommend this school to parents who prioritize proactive, attentive care. It’s the little things that matter especially when it comes to kids. Go with your gut!
We switched our daughter to Crabapple Academy in January, and we wish we had done it sooner. We are absolutely thrilled with the administration and all staff, employees, and teachers. They are beyond caring and passionate for each child, no matter the age. I feel so lucky as a mother to have my daughter (and soon to be second daughter) in a school that I know truly cares about her and her wellbeing. I could not recommend C.A. enough!
