We were recently scheduled for a tour of the center, we showed up and everyone greeted us upon arrival! I love the open layout of the center, all of the teachers/workers were very friendly and seem to be very hands on with the children. It’s a very homely, warm environment and I personally feel as if that is great! It’ll be easier for the children to adjust that way. I will definitely be enrolling my kids asap! They also informed me they provide diapers and wipes, thats always a plus!
I would strongly caution parents before enrolling here. In my experience, written policies were applied inconsistently and often changed or reinterpreted when challenged. When I referenced the parent handbook to clarify issues, the response shifted from resolution to escalation. My child was served food that did not follow his documented dietary restrictions, which resulted in him becoming physically ill. There were also situations where minor issues were presented to me as urgent or severe, but when I spoke directly with classroom staff, the descriptions did not align. I had concerns about environmental conditions in the classroom and a lack of transparency regarding safety matters. Communication often felt confrontational rather than collaborative, and I experienced repeated pressure surrounding payments and meetings even after issues were resolved. Additionally, I witnessed what appeared to be incentives for positive reviews, which raises concerns about the accuracy of the center’s online ratings. Ultimately, services were terminated after ongoing disagreements about policy interpretation. My experience left me feeling that parent advocacy was not welcomed. I encourage parents to ask detailed questions, request documentation in writing, and carefully review policies before enrolling.
My 2 year old son attends this day care and he really enjoys it. He is in Mrs. Angela’s class and every time he sees her he runs to her and greets her and his friends before playing. He has a feeding issues and she has been a great help with aiding him to eat and use and open cup. The whole facility is really great. the director is very friendly and greets everyone who comes in as does the rest of the teachers and administrators! It’s over all been a great experience, they are very accommodating with feeding issues, sensory issues, and they offer after school care for school age children.!
My Grandson has been enrolled here at Cozy Corner for 3 weeks now. The teachers and staff are all friendly and you can see clearly care about the children. The office staff make you feel welcomed. I love the door code and ease of checking him in and out each day. Meals are provided, which has been a load off of me. He is enrolled in the Pre-K Program, so this Program is Free! Also, he went on his first “school” Field Trip to Disney on Ice! He enjoys attending!
Mrs.Yanelis and Mrs.Kimora at Cozy Corner Child center are both incredible teachers.While the kids wait for breakfast I peeked in to see what they was doing before leaving my daughter in that classroom, I saw them refreshing their knowledge on the alphabet and being praised when they get the answer correct. The atmosphere of pure joy from the kids and my daughter being apart of that class gives me a peace of mind. I'm very happy that while she is learning she's having a great time. I couldn't ask for a better center to have my daughter in.
