I have never experienced a church as welcoming and loving as Covenant. I too came unprepared and doubtful, having been decades in many others that simply were not able to fully take the Bible at its word, and preach, teach and do life as the gospel clearly tells us to do. I am coming back. The Spirit is working here. This is a praying, praising and worshiping congregation who freely admits we are all sinners, every one, but are all struggling to help each other make it through life with Gods Blessings. Yes, prepare to be amazed. You will be!
This church is the epitome of what JESUS talked about. In HIS words "and they will know you're my disciples by how you love one another" and this is exactly what this church does. The pastor teaches and preaches ONLY the uncompromised Gospel of JESUS CHRIST nothing more and certainly nothing less! I have found my home.
I visited the church about a month after voting there. I was the only African-American there on that Sunday and felt very comfortable worshipping with their congregation. They welcomed me with open arms.
Feels like home. If you need a family, go here. Caring and word of God is taught. Focus on prayer and He Good News!
