HCA Florida JFK Hospital did an excellent job with my husband’s shoulder surgery—the medical team was professional, attentive, and reassuring from start to finish. The procedure went smoothly, and we felt confident in the quality of care he received. However, the final pickup experience was a major letdown. After such a smooth process, the discharge and pickup felt disorganized and poorly managed, creating unnecessary stress at a time when comfort and clarity matter most. Communication was confusing, and the logistics didn’t match the level of care we experienced inside the hospital. It’s disappointing to see such a strong medical experience end on a frustrating note. With better organization and support during patient pickup, the hospital could easily turn a great clinical experience into a great overall one.

I recently received exceptional care at this hospital and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the physicians and nurse leaders who provided expert, compassionate guidance, to the patient care nurses and technicians who were incredibly attentive and kind, I felt prioritized at every turn. The technical teams, including the MRI and X-ray staff, were efficient and professional, while the transport staff made every transition smooth and stress-free. Even the food service workers and servers went above and beyond, delivering quality meals with wonderful courtesy. The PT staff was informative and gave great advice. Every department worked together seamlessly to provide a world-class start to healing experience. Kudos to JFK!

I came in via ambulance for an emergency surgery and was admitted to 3N/3NW. From the moment I arrived in my room, I was greeted by the most pleasant, caring staff. Karen Brown. Isabelle, Milca, and Georgia went above and beyond to make me feel safe, supported, and truly cared for during a very scary time. Every single person I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely there to help. I have never experienced this level of compassion and care in a hospital setting before. It made such a difference in my recovery and overall experience. I give the highest recommendation to this incredible team — they are truly exceptional.

I had a wonderful experience at this hospital after I had a slip and fall in Miami and I was transported to this hospital where I stayed for three weeks to a month for physical therapy. The physical therapy floor was awesome. I receive physical therapy every day and occupational therapy. Everyone was so kind and patient and very caring about my recovery . The nurses were awesome and always willing to help my physical therapist. Kristen deserves five stars and more she was absolutely wonderful and went far and beyond to help my recovery a success. My Casemanager was absolutely amazing as well. I can’t remember her name, but I will update when I find it and my doctor‘s name was Dr. G when I remember how to spell it correctly I will come back and update this review if I had to choose a hospital to stay for a month again I would choose JFK hospital. I am giving this hospital a five star review. I forgot to mention that the food is absolutely amazing. Believe it or not however, I’m not on a special diet lol😂😂😂

Her attention to detail and genuine concern for her patients truly set her apart.
