What Parents Say
CORA Day Care receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, with parents praising staff quality, child development outcomes, and facility cleanliness. However, one parent reported poor communication and unprofessional conduct at the Verree office intake department for ABA services.
This comment is for the Verree office Intake office for ABA services. Although this office does a good job with paperwork. Their communication with parents is less than satisfactory. Their wasn't any professionalism at all, they spoke to me with a negative tone of voice and snappy remarks. This office seems to have no respect for parents or the community they serve. Which concerns me since intake, referral office or front desk are the first point of contact to the community. They should always present themselves with courtesy, kindness and respect. Overall present an approachable and welcoming presence, like you want to help the kids and their families. When I contacted this office I was immediately shut down because they only serve families in their cluster. Once I provided evidence that I am in their cluster, instead for apologizing for their rudeness. They requested more information. Little do they know. Im a former Human Services worker/Therapist, I have all the correct information at hand. I did all the foot work. Yet, still, this office spoke to me like I was a bother. I will be waiting for CBH to do their process. But if since my kids neighborhood school is in this ABA programs cluster to serve. I expect an improvement in customer service, telephone and email/text etiquette; especially to the parents. Poor leadership can misrepresent the organization services; especially if it involves children services with special needs. If this staff disrespects parents, I wonder how do they treat the children? I'd like to add, to treat all parents with respect and courtesy because you might be speaking to a colleague in the field. Show more respect and kindness to the families in the community you serve. Dont assume we're ignorant. Like myself, I can assess the staff needs more CBH training hours surrounding professionalism, etiquette and effective coping skills to provide proficient work performances.
This childcare facility is suppose to specialize with kids that has special needs this is by far the worst facility I ever seen. My niece is autistic and attend this school and it was a nightmare for my sister. They were always complaining about my niece behavior and the only reason why she was acting out was because of mistreatment. They really do have favoritism seen it with my own eyes a firefighter child with special needs was being treated great. I go with a lot of body language so those who been in a similar situation you would know. The list is so long of the nonsense me and my sister had to go through. Either shut this place down or hire a new director. The director seems nice she is so ignorant and rude. And don’t say this is a fake review my niece attended here. The bad reviews of this place is true. PLS DO NOT ENROLL YOU LR CHILD IN THIS HELL WHOLE. Life with a special needs child is already difficult enough and Cora just make it even worse smh.
Cora is a great place for counseling but 6 months is ridiculous I think u guys should switch for long term because ur already use to that therapist and just do not want to leave him/her because u built a bond between them. Ms.Emma is so understanding and opened up to me I wish I can go longer with her but I can’t. Also the distance and time is good for me all these other places are not. But I will miss Ms.Emma so much I wish I can do longer or u guys just switch.
Attended counseling and parenting classes with family member. As a provider myself I really appreciate their work.
Great experience. The counselors are amazing. Sophia really tapped into my daughter’s mental health and the progress was amazing. Thankful 🙏
