Shaare Shamayim is such a wonderful, family oriented school that really focuses on learning and making school a positive environment for everyone. My daughter loves going and has from the very first day. The teachers are all so warm, welcoming and great with helping the kids…and the parents! As a first time stay-at-home mom, this really made me (and my daughter) feel comfortable and at ease with the whole transition from home to school. The school is also very on top of safety/security and has the friendliest staff that gets to know every child and parent by name. Again, this was a huge relief. My daughter has absolutely blossomed since starting and we couldn’t be happier. I can’t say how special a place Shaare Shamayim is. I highly recommend it!
As a parent of 3 children who attended Shaare Shamayim Preschool over the past decade, I cannot say enough about the dedicated teachers and staff there. They create a genuinely safe and loving environment for children to learn and grow through fun, hands on activities, academic enrichment and social experiences. They work as a unified team to ensure every child has a voice and support them to reach their highest potential. They differentiate to meet the needs of all of their students and instill a love of learning in the children they teach. From the moment you enter the school, every teacher knows every child by name. Even many years later, my older children are still very close with with the lifelong friends they made during their preschool days and say their preschool teachers were the ones that have had the biggest impact on them.
I cannot speak more highly of a preschool for kids. I sent 3 of my kids here from 18 months through Kindergarten. The teachers truly treated my kids as there own. They knew I was nervous because I had come from another day care without such a good experience. Miss Lisa took it upon herself to personally text me with updates throughout the day. We have since moved and to this day I stay in contact with the teachers, especially Miss Elaine, my 4 year old still talks about her and we like to go visit when we can. This preschool/summer camp has a place in my heart !
I have sent 2 kids to the school and summer camp and I couldn’t be happier. Both my children were able to be potty trained and thrived being at the school. They truly love your children and become your family. When both kids transitioned into kindergarten they had an easy time due to all the help from the teachers at the school. I will always recommend the school to parents in the area
I love taking my son to school and camp knowing he is loved and cared for just as he is at home. Since attending CSS, I've seen amazing social and academic growth in my toddler. CSS staff is both warm and professional, and I am so thankful for all they do.
