Congregation B'Nai B'Rith

Beautiful place, people are pleasant and the staff are nice, but if you’re looking for a community, it will likely be disappointing. People are a bit cliquey and it’s very hard to integrate, even for an extrovert. Many times my family and I have been to events and only talked to each other. I’ve seen other families experience this as well - if you don’t initiate the convo, you won’t have one. Lots of people talking, but not mingling, so you get this “alone in a crowd” feeling. This is our third year of sending our kids to Schul and only my son has a friend in his class- because they were friends before they started at CBB. It’s almost comical at this point how weird the vibe is there, but it’s the only reform Synagogue, so 🤷🏻‍♀️ Could be worse.

Beautiful Jewish Temple on lucious grounds nestled in the hills. The Cantor has a beautiful voice and the rabbi was warm, intelligent and relatable. I attended a thoughtful service for the passing of my friend's wife.

CBB will always be home to me! Warm clergy and congregation. Welcome to all. Beautiful choir. It is a wonderful place to be a part of!

I have been a member of other Calif synagogues but have rarely found any with such a caring group of clergy, of friendly members and of engaged staff. I appreciate what this wonderful institution gives to the community and to me. Marilyn Gilbert

I am partial to this Shul, because my musical compositions are performed here by the choir. It's the largest and most musical synagogue I have ever seen, and the Rabbi and Cantor are the best.
