Observed Yom Kippur in a wonderfully warm welcoming community at Beth Israel. I came away more forgiving of myself and others and enjoyed a delicious spread after the shofar sounded.
Very large not very personalized experience. Very into musical presentation - so if you’re into musical, you’ll like it. One of the Reform Jewish centers of San Diego, wish it felt more intimate, personalized, but still support it for what it stands for in San Diego.
Awful experience. I go to services to have a religious experience, not be force-fed racist tropes about Arabs or Israeli propaganda. The fact the staff will stand next to the Torah and spread hate and prejudice is truly upsetting. If you want to get into politics, fine, just don't be hateful and renounce your tax exemption.
Incredible warm, welcome special place The Rabbis, staff, congregation. Are exemplary & exceptional Children w & Jr High singing group are beyond chasing , professional & seems to b filled with Joy & having a blast Love the guest lecture/speakers, Sermons. Words of ancient & current wisdom. Without knowing, they've helped me in the grieving process with my Dad, {<4/20/2019) Audio & video engineers make it appear seamless. The music, words, soul and warmth is clear at every turn, each service My Friday are immeasurably more relaxed, enjoyable, spiritual, gratitude/appreciative and more understanding of this crazy, violent world because of all.thevtime, effort and attention Congregation Beth Israel does each time I'm fortunate enough to visit their campus.
