I have been a member for over 20 years. Pastor Alex is amazing; in tune with the church family, and so supportive of the community groups that use the building. She brings so much light to the worship service! She advocated for live-streaming, so now people who can't attend in person can watch via YouTube. The building is beautiful, and the people are so welcoming and friendly! They really make you feel like you belong!
Welcoming and loving church. Very community oriented - over 24 local groups here - BSA male troop, BSA Scout pack, New all female BSA troop 4, Alcoholics Anonymous, Dutch Language class, Parkinson's Exercise class, Farmers Market (Wed 10-2), and the crown jewel "Bethesda Preparatory Preschool" with a very large play ground and professionally managed.
It could be a great 5*Church. But their acoustics, the Sound system sucks. Can hear but no clarity whatsoever. Great location and potential for great service.
We were here for a wedding. Wonderful wedding venue. Beautiful church!
