Was about to start first day of work, got sick and told them. I was sick for two days and on the third they told me I HAD to come in no matter what. We are in a pandemic that spreads severally fast towards children. I did not think that it was wise to go into work while I was showing symptoms and potentially get others sick. The receptionist apparently has higher power than everyone there and said " YOU STILL HAVE TO COME IN." I didn't even care about the pay, I just didn't want to expose anyone and they failed to communicate and give proper care for the ones that matter the most, the kids. That small interaction gave me a huge window view as to how this establishment is ran. Poor communication, poor views, poor care for others.
We sent our 9 month old son to this daycare for about 2 weeks and without a doubt I would say this is the most terrible place. There was one old lady who was the care provider and she just could not manage him. My son cried non-stop from morning 8AM to 3PM and she would do nothing to stop him... this happened daily for 2 weeks. Then we changed the daycare and from day one he was happy at the new daycare. It just hurts us allot when we think about it.
The CUCC Daycares are AWFUL! I worked at one location and could not believe how unfriendly they are to the children there. One teacher was turned in for leaving marks on the children. She talked to them as if she were another child. The parents were never informed of these matters either. After all of the legal paperwork they finally got her out of there but left her assistants who were almost as bad. That was in just one room so think of how the entire place is ran. I could not stand seeing the kids treated like that but when only one person speaks out who's going to listen. This place needs to be shut down!
After working there and having experience in all three centers, I would never send my children there. Hire a nanny, find a good in-home daycare, but please do not send them to CUCCC.
Only review I have ever taken the time to write. If you like a total pathetic excuse for management that will send your kid home any chance you get this is the place for you. Use every excuse they can throw at you and don't get your money back for the day. There is no reasoning with the management staff and they are not fit to operate a place that has young kids. Try anywhere else.
