Community Kids Learning Center

Words cannot describe how thankful I am for the care my son received while he attended Community Kids. My son began going to Community Kids when he was 6 weeks old, he went 12 hours a day. For most new, single moms this would have been nerve wrecking especially leaving their baby with someone they barely know. However, as my son continued to go to Community Kids, the center grew on me and all of the stress/anxiety I had on the first day was completely gone. Everyone treated my son good, and made sure he was always taken care of and if there were any problems, I was immediately notified. They not only taught my son a lot, but they taught me (his mother) a lot as well. Being a single mom with no close family, community kids worked with me. Even though I have decided to switch centers (we are relocating) I will always have a place in my heart for community kids. This center is hands down the best daycare around and I am forever greatful that My son had the opportunity to learn and grow with them for the first 2 years of his life. I’m not sure if any of the staff will see this, but I want to say thank you, especially to those that went beyond expectations to care for my son. You all have left a positive impact on mine and Stevens lives and we are great full to have met you all.

I love this daycare! My 2 year old dives out of my arms for the caregivers when I drop her off. I cannot say the same about her previous provider. Our previous daycare would send her home starving and often with a diaper rash. Due to the things she loves to eat, she’d have loose stools frequently. They would refuse her for 24hrs because of it and I’d miss work. Community kids is so understanding and attentive. We are super pleased to be using them.

Great school for my granddaughter!! She is 6 and started in kindergarten since it was her first year. She has excelled quickly to the 1st grade in less than a year. She also has a slight speech impairment and the great teacher that she has is working with her and making great strides. This girl wanted to go back to school 2 days in to Christmas vacation. SHE LOVES IT!!!

This place changes daycare workers all the time, none of them ever stay. They pack to many kids in each room, there is never enough one on one time, my kids come home extremely dirty, I understand the clothes, it's a daycare, but wash the face and hands. The daycare workers are not qualified to handle toddlers because they have to many and never enough help. If I call to check on my kids, i never get a answer, unless I call nonstop and even then I just have to go there. If your kids are great at watching themselves, this is the place for you. My toddler is ADHD and OCD, they don't have the patience or the knowledge how to handle him, so he gets sent home alot. Even if he didn't have ADHD, this daycare will not handle terrible twos or toddlers who just need a little extra attention. Never enough help, and only a few Daycare workers who try to understand, work there. Not a great place to take kids, if you need your job, they don't watch kids, unless your kids can watch themselves.

Very disappointed today in Pastor Danny and his front administrative receptionist Brandy. I knew something wasn't right when my first encounter with Brandy she started throwing her hands up when she spoke to me with attitude. I should have know when Pastor Danny said she's exactly what he needs her to be. Today, I never felt more disrespected and be littled by someone your supposed to feel that you can trust. I have withdrawn my children from this childcare center because after speaking with Pastor Danny I feel as though he condoned Brandys confrontational attitude with me. She spoke to me with such condescending way because I asked her why she did not call the emergency contacts in my son's file when he had a fever and needed to be picked up but could not reach me (she said she called and left message with my boss, she didnt, said she left message on my cell, no call or voicemail). She said she was "trying to explain to me" while she swerved her neck around like the catch me outside girl. She said I was "questioning her!" um yes lady! Thats my child! I just cannot stand people who behave this way towards others especially when they work in a "Christian" daycare/academy. Cannot be "Christian" when you treat people the way Brandy treated me and cannot be "Godly" if you condone this behavior towards people the way Pastor Danny allowed his employee who is a reflection of him in his business carry herself the way she does. I feel as though this establishment is so desperate for employees that he will allow her to run his business in this ugly way. Im not saying everyone will experience this but if they do...do not expect Pastor Danny to hold his employees responsible for their disrespectful behavior. I thought I could trust Pastor Danny and Im hurt more than anything that he couldnt care less about the way this ugly woman Brandy was to me. I wouldnt suggest this daycare to anyone. I will not be singing their praises to anyone. I will warn everyone that this Brandy is the ugly face of that establishment. Like in the previous post. My son always came home filthy and started getting sick after attending. I dont know if they pick and choose who they will truly care after but you never know. And also when they dont want to deal with your child they will say they had a fever or diahrrea and cannot return for 24 hrs without Dr's note. I wouldnt trust my children's well being here. Its a blessing in disguise. I will look elsewhere and Im fine with that. I refuse to bring my children around ugliness like this establishment has show me and my child just because I "questioned" Brandy why she didnt follow "their" procedure and call emergency contacts when she couldnt get a hold of me. I will never sing their praises to any mother or parent I meet. Worst childcare experience ever. They need to get a better paperpusher besides Brandy who truly cares about people and their children. She's a reflection of you Pastor Danny. You could do better.
