Old high school converted. Memories galore. Wonderful senior center with neat finds and good food.
In mid August, we visited this wonderful small local market. Even in August, they had fresh grown vegetables and fruit. Local handmade crafts galore. This is on my must return list. Our finds - - bread n butter pickles (just like my grandmother's:)) - vine ripen tomatoes and grapes - local honey - hand knitted hat and bunny rabbit
Everything here's really nice. They have a full basketball court, 2 restrooms, a library, a farmers market, a place to learn taekwando (my brother did this until he was a purple belt), a place to learn ballet, a small school in the basement, and last but definitely not least the senior center thrift store always has something you like, it's extremely cheap you can get a nice pair of jeans for a quarter. When I lived here I was in my preteen years and bought a lot of my clothes here. A little history fact this place used to be a school.
Went to the Saturday Farmers Market while traveling through Twisp. Small friendly group of vendors. Good fresh fruit and vegetables. Thought there would be more crafts. Parking was good and just remember the speed limits entering and leaving town. Goes from 60 too 35 and then 25 quickly. Two officers working hard to control speeders
Great place to rent for a birthday party for play or roller skating. They also use it for plays and musical shows as well as Flea markets and farmers markets
