My parents went to CCC while watching this location being built. They loved both. The church is beautiful. I will say the early service I visited with my mother is a right fit for her. She's in her mid eighties, a beautiful old school service. I prefer a more commentary service and they may have a later service may cater to those that prefer commentary, I am not sure as I was a visitor. My mother was always happy and never missed a Sunday service or some of their Special services, i.e., Christmas, choir and so on. She is no longer able to attend but some members still come to visit her in the memory unit she now resides in.

I have attended Community Covenant Church in Lenexa since 2000 and I love this church. The church is Bible based and a part of the Evangelical Covenant Church. It is missional focused both in the local community and around the world supporting two local elementary schools, a KC urban core ministry, the River Of Life Orphan Care Center in Bambisana, South Africa and many short and long term missionaries and ministries. CCC has a thriving children's ministry called Kaleidoscope Kids, an incredible preschool program and an extremely active teen ministry. The facility is home to Christ Prep Academy school throughout the week and provides gymnasium and soccer fields to the community. There are two services on Sunday mornings, an 8:45 traditional service and an 11:00 contemporary service. A variety of adult and child education opportunities are offered from 10:00 to 10:45 and there are a lot of small groups and Bible study options throughout the week. This is a loving, warm and welcoming place for all those seeking to know who God is and how he's relevant to their daily life and for those looking to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
