I truly love this center — the facilities are excellent, and the front-line staff are friendly, and make it a welcoming place. That’s why it’s so disappointing to see how often facility decisions and changes seem poor and disconnected. -Pool scheduling needs serious attention. Looks at multiple community request/questions online. A single small class shouldn’t close off multiple pools or tubs for everyone else. The daily pool/lane schedules need to be revised to balance classes and open swim more fairly. -Staffing lacks accountability. Anyone who watches the cameras or floor can clearly see the difference: some are constantly on their phones, sitting passing time ignoring members needing help or things need attention. (Hopefully some of these are volunteers/off duty trainers/coaches). While others are working nonstop to address issues answer phones, keep towels stocked and trash managed. A little oversight and fairness here would improve operations and the morale. -The child watch area has been stripped down. Nearly 90% of the toys have been removed, and what remains are low-quality, toddler-only items. If this was a strategic refresh, it missed the mark — quality toys were removed without suitable replacements. I even offered to donate age-appropriate, guideline-compliant toys but was told donations aren’t accepted. That’s a missed opportunity to build community support.
I was at Liberty Community Center for the Luzicka Ballet performance of The Nutcracker. It was a very bustling place that evening with regulars working out. There is a comfortable waiting area with vending machines. The staff are super helpful and professional.
It’s unfortunate that they have an antiquated billing policy. I should be able to pay my bill monthly instead of auto-pay. I’ll just take my business elsewhere.
Great location and convenient for theater productions and shows. Easy in and out. All good seats in the house!
We’ve filmed here 4 years in a row for a theatre company children’s camp. The facilities are first rate
