My husband, 10 yr old daughter and I love it here. The pastors are gentle, warm and community oriented, and bring wisdom from biblical teachings. The format is action oriented and music based. Pastors Jason, Krista, Alex and Jill are gems and help you connect with the spirit. I forgot the name of the Care pastor as well and he is wonderful and kind too.
Ushers seemed fake when we entered, they were a bit creepy as I walked in. I felt that it was a very awkward environment and the people there were only concerned with the people they already knew. It's like one big exclusivity club. Overall not a great church and wouldn't consider going back.
Hey Journey of Faith, I absolutely love the renovations you've done to the church. The space looks so beautiful and open, giving it a refreshing feel. However, I must admit that I do have one concern. I noticed that the actual sermon is quite short, and personally, I believe that the sermon is the most important part of the church experience. Because of this, I feel compelled to continue my search for a better fit that aligns with the gospel of god being longer than just "30 minutes." That is the most crucial part of the experience. Best Church I’ve been to in YEARS and it has absolutely brought me back to putting Jesus first in my life. The staff is friendly, the pastors are so full of love and support, and the sermons aren’t going to put you to sleep and are relatable. I found this church through a care group, and if that isn’t the work of God I don’t know what is!!
If it was not for my Best Friend. Randy and his wife Sharron from Mira Costa High School (Which is next door) Being so persistent in getting me to a service. I would have missed out on this "Jewel 💎 of a place". As soon as Jason came on stage I felt at home. I read some of the other reviews and feel sorry for one lady who complained about such a short service. To her I would say give it another try. I'm dying of A GBM Brain 🧠 Tumor grade IV. I now know where I'm going after my debilitating horrible horrendous Pain I'm in. Where I'm going for the next phase God has planned for me.
