Extremely frustrating process applying for fuel assistance—they kept saying they didn't have our documentation, though we visited them with documents and sent documents. We never received the fuel assistance we were eligible for.
The procedures, policies and people who work in the fuel assistance program are stellar and outstanding Any other programs and services are questionable. If it sounds too good on the website to be true it’s just marketing like community potato chips and community chocolate this is not an agency that serves the community. They serve their friends and families Kind of like Donald Trump !!!! If you want a job or classes or budgeting or anything decent rational kind and empowering don’t ask these people I would go up to GCC and if you really want a job, you need to pay somebody because none of these free services will get you anywhere except maybe a poverty job.. Again, the fuel assistance people are super, never shaming or abusive they always give you good instructions and follow through and leave and have somebody come to your house to make sure you’re not leaking energy Ppl assistance is stellar
Counseling, Assistance Hub (such as providing people to prepare and file taxes) for materials necessary for survival (such as a Food bank resources) and living (such as Heating fuel and Electricity discounts), Wellness program that takes a moderated Wholistic approach. Seems mostly directed toward those at the lower rungs of the 99%'rs. Nice people, friendly atmosphere, regular business hours.
Came here for energy help and got the assistance I needed for my home. This company doesn't Google their employees before hiring! Very surprising. The lady Remy who helped me was pleasant but the social media is inappropriate for someone who works with the public.
Headstart has been a huge part of my family from my attendance as a child to my 5th child in homebase I have built a community with not only the teachers but parents as well long lasting friendships and so much more.
