Community Action Head Start

People that work the front desk and answer telephone calls need to know better information on services provided. Also your intake application needs to be updated with your guidelines/requirements for a person to receive help from organization. Had that been told to me or I could have read it first I wouldn't have filled out the in take application. Your employees and paper process have left me with false hope.

My grandson and his sisters attend CAHS. They all seem to enjoy it. His has learned a lot well attending.

So unprofessional and disrespectful and when a parent is disrespectful back they have a problem they let other kids fight and when brought it to their attention they say sorry and the situation is never fix they try covering for each other when at fault I would not recommend any real parents that truly cares about your kids I wouldn't really truly care about your children please review the comments and think twice about it you don't want to live with regrets something I have to live with every day the receptionist is horrible and then she tells her supervisor parents of the children are disrespectful and she's the one disrespectful she never communicates with the case workers at all their communication skills are lacking a whole lot they claimed they were working on that that was three months ago I have 11 month old daughter that attends there with three other fathers and she keeps getting bullied by a two year old boy what possibly can my 11 month old daughter due to a two year old weigh almost three that he has to put her on her back and they try to justify the behavior of a two year old boy if you're telling him it's okay and he doesn't get talkin to wartime out or whatever to let him know what he did was wrong you're pretty much saying he can grow up and do whatever he wants and a judge is going to say that's not how it works you are there to protect our kids and see their parents with respect you're going to get the same respect that you give to me I'm not the type of person that will disrespect you when you didn't do nothing wrong to me but if you get out of line I sure am going to get out of line with you you cannot talk to a person any type of way and think that they're supposed to sit back and take it that's not how I raised my kids and that's not how I was raised so if you truly care about your kids please take class before 3 good teachers out of this whole school and I'm not trying to make this about race but each one of my kids have a African American teacher and you know how they say children can tell if a person is bad or not well my key is come on and tell me stuff that the non African American kidnon African American teachers do so then I take it to the supervisor or the caseworker that works with my kids and I and all they have to say my daughter my 11 month old daughter has bruises and all they can say is sorry not if that stuff happened in my home that you quit to call DCs I did call DCF a couple times on them I took pictures I took my daughter to everything I even recorded my conversation I had today with the supervisor she wanted me to speak in a tone that was come you're going to stay behind your staff 100% that means that your dirty suit if you allow your staff to disrespect their parents especially when you got their kids in your care o yeah you best believe I put my kids out today at 9 90 this morning on 5/29 /2019 and here's the sad part they haven't been gone long they started last year in August and everything I've been there and my kids have been going there has been nothing but chaos and excuses and neglect on the teachers part I'm sorry but I care too much about my kids and everybody think it's okay I care about my keys too much to have them waking unsafe adults awkward the teachers that I did get along with my hat goes off to the I hope you all find a different job with all the clients that this company is Losing and to any parent real parents that truly cares about their kids take my advice I'm terrified every day that my kids go to that school cuz I don't want to be one of those parents stating that you need to get to the ER or what are your children are in the hospital no mother or father wants to hear that by far and that's my biggest fear everyday that I dropped them off at school no parent should have to fear that and I wouldn't wish this type of fear on any parents not even my worst enemy but I wish these people the best of luck I did contact channel 13 news just to see if someone can cover this story cuz I find their behavior unprofessional and unjustified

The staff and families all make it worth the impact. Love this family oriented school.
