Colors Of The Rainbow Learning Center

8 years ago my wife and I were in a pinch to find a daycare and fast. We found colors of the rainbow online and it has been a GODSEND! Their rates have been and are competitive and affordable, and the child care that they provide is second to none. I have sent all four of my children there and the two that have aged out and moved on to public schooling in Mount Laurel have come out several grade levels ahead in reading and in mathematics. They have a love of learning and physical play and have absolutely LOVED their time at Colors of the Rainbow Learning Center. When we go to pick up my two younger ones, they always beg to come in and see their teachers and their friends and every time they are greeted with a hug and a smile from their teachers and their friends. I cannot say enough about how Colors of the Rainbow Learning Center is a terrific place to care for and teach your children, and I am very glad that we found a second home for our 4 kids there. The staff has been and continues to be great! Ms. Shelaina and Ms. Tiffany do an excellent job running the place and have a great group of younger staff members who always greet us with a smile and that our kids talk about every day when they come home. All through the COVID pandemic shut downs and everything they were SUPER helpful and professional, providing care even through that uncomfortable time, still abiding by governmental standards, masking, cleaning, reading temps at the door, and yet still providing excellent care. I honestly do not know how my wife and I would have dealt with all of that had it not been for Colors of the Rainbow Learning Center. Overall, they are kind and loving towards our children. They have done a phenomenal job at teaching our kids all sorts of things, including potty training, AND our kids LOVE the school so much that they cannot wait to arrive in the morning. To the lovely staff at Colors of the Rainbow Learning Center, I can only say thanks for everything you have done and everything that you continue to do. We are very glad to be able to entrust our children to your care. Thanks! 2 super happy and satisfied customers!

Both of my children(5 yr old and 3 yr old) have been in Colors of the Rainbow since infant. The care and education they have received has been amazing. We have built a wonderful relationship with the director and staff members who always keeps up us informed of the kids up to date routines. The kids are always excited to go to school and see their teachers and friends. This is the only center my children have attended and it has been the greatest! No complaints!

We are so grateful to have found this wonderful center. Colors of the Rainbow has exceeded our expectations. The staff are loving, caring, supportive and attentive to my child and every child enrolled. The Executive Director and Director’s hands on approach to leadership shows that they really care about the staff, the children, the parents and the reputation of the center. Since day 1, Ms. Scott, the Director, has done everything possible to communicate with us and keep us informed (with photos) of our son’s daily activities/ achievements. Her unparalleled dedication to the well being and growth of each child as well as the relationship she has built with us, as parents, has made us more comfortable than I ever thought possible. We know our child is in great hands. Our son is truly happy at Colors of the Rainbow. He feels loved and loves his teachers, the staff and his friends at the school. He’s learning and growing in an atmosphere that supports his growth thanks to his teachers, most recently Ms. Aisha and Ms. Janae, and the leadership of Ms. Shelania and Ms. Scott. As parents, we want the best of everything for our son. We couldn’t ask for more!

I have two children that attend this daycare. The teachers at this daycare are the best! The teachers interact with the kids constantly. My kids get super excited to go to school. When the weekend comes, they are sad that they don’t have school. We are all going to be sad when they age out and have to start kindergarten.

My review is mixed because when I decided to leave, the director was very understanding, and she really could have been difficult about the financial aspect and she was not. I was very grateful for that, and felt it showed her character. My son attended this pre-school for one month, maybe one and a half months. When I toured I met a really sweet lady in the baby nursery and the pre-school/kindergarten teacher made a great impression on me (Mara). At the time Mara was nearly full term pregnant and I knew she'd be out for the start of the school year. Unfortunately that time out ended up being too long for us. The staff turnover was tremendous, and my son was clearly suffering as a result of something happening at school. He was acting out such ridiculous behavior that we'd never seen before and we were clearly able to trace it to the school. We withdrew him and the behavior went away. We enrolled him in a private pre-school that has had the same teachers for 5+ years and he is thriving and doing very well. I've considered touring Colors of the Rainbow again for summer care for my son. If they have stabilized their staff, and if they are hiring older people who are classy I'd say its a good place. Even though I am young myself, I just don't think that young women who are being employed and are not emotionally invested are properly suited to handle the stability of mine or anyone's child's day/week/month.
