Color Me Bright Preschool

Both my children (ages 4 & 2) attend Color Me Bright. My older is in the 3 days a week preschool program and my younger is in the 1 day a week program. My kids have THRIVED there. I have noticed a very significant improvement in my 4 year old's fine motor skills, letter recognition, her ability to write, draw, knowing the days of the week, date, and many of the other skills that she should be learning at this age. I had her at a different preschool the year before and I could tell that while she loved it, she was getting lost in the numbers. The class size was just too big. At CMB the class sizes are smaller so the teachers are able to provide lots of individual attention and they are completely aware of what is going on at all times with the kids. The individualized attention is amazing. Not only did my older child grow and progress with her "academics" but her social skills and general life skills have been fostered and developed as well. My daughter LOVES the school and the teachers. There have been a few times when she realizes it's not a school day where she has actually pouted and shed tears! My two year old son, on the other hand, is a bit more of a challenge. Lots of tantruming and acting out. He has a very strong will and can be extremely non-compliant. In addition to this, he is also a tad behind as far as a few developmental milestones; talking and some comprehension. I told the ladies at CMB about him ahead of time and they could not have been nicer. They were happy to have him nonetheless and were excited to work with him to see if they could help encourage some growth in the areas he needed it. And they did. Their patience, caring and incredibly warm demeanors could not have been better. They stayed in great contact about his progress and were also very honest with me when he had bad days. Without a doubt my son has improved and grown significantly while there. Again, the individualized attention he was able to receive there....there's no way he would have recieved that anywhere else. And that's what he needed. The staff at CMB is amazing. They are sisters who are very passionate about art, children, learning, etc. Their attention to detail is unparallel. They don't miss a thing. They are extraordinarily professional while also being approachable and kind. They have this unbelievable energy and positivity to them that immediately makes you feel comfortable and the kids just thrive off of. I have not encountered better teachers, as well as people, to entrust with my children. We are moving out of state, so sadly our kids will not be attending CMB anymore, but I can say without a doubt, we are so lucky that our children benefited from their time there. We really feel like we stumbled upon a gem, and we are just so sad to have to leave it! It's a young staff, with lots of energy and zest. They are so on top of it and just really smart, quick and creative gals. I feel that sometimes within education, you can encounter "burnout" where the teachers have lost their passion and energy for the job and end up just going through the motions. The CMB staff is the exact opposit. They are fresh out of the gate and truly passionate and care about what they do. The facility is amazing too, by the way. I could go on and on, but will stop myself here! Can't say enough good things about our time at Color Me Bright. Would be happy to be used as a reference if any mom/parent has more specific questions. I feel strongly about what CMB has to offer and the job they are doing. We'll miss them!

Great school, my daughter loved it there. Very professional, creative, just the preschool we wanted. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, for boys and girls.
