Collinswood Elementary Asep

I'm relieved to see others speaking out about the bullying that this school has overlooked. While our initial experience was positive, everything changed when both of my children became targets of bullying. Unfortunately, the administration failed to take meaningful action because the perpetrators were children of influential PTA members, whose attitudes were often condescending, elitist, and entitled. The emotional impact on my kids has been lasting, and it's heartbreaking that their time here will be remembered more for that than anything else. That said, I want to express my sincere gratitude to Ms. Nina, Mr. Diebolt, and Mr. Kevin, whose kindness and care made a real difference during difficult times. If you're considering enrolling your children here, I strongly recommend doing thorough research first.

Hello, I do NOT recommend this school for your child if they have got bullied before. I say this because I get constantly bullied in this school, I have reported it to teachers and the principal multiple times and I’ve been going to this school for almost a year and nothing has changed. Also they say they will do something about it but they don’t. And I’ve noticed when students disrespect a teacher then they will give strict rules, referrals, and they call home.

Edited my rating my a 5 to a 1 star. This is not a school that will protect your child if they report being bullied. I found out after the fact and that on two occasions my child was being bullied and notified the teachers only for it to be disregarded. Another incident a child hit my child and I contacted the school upset and they contacted the other child and their parent and my child had hit back to defend themselves and I was told if they pursue this on the abusing child’s record, then my child will suffer the consequences. For this reason, my other children are not going to this school and I have placed them elsewhere. I regret transferring my child to this school when we moved here and I sincerely hope other parents talk with their children to create allowing bullies to keep creating more victims and for children to learn to find people they actually trust to confide in so that they may try to protect themselves. If I could give this school a zero rating, I would.

This school is like the best because our school is international and has helped me with my Spanish a lot. They teach you a lot my parents would recommend it for you if you want ur child to learn Spanish and I would also rate it because it’s really interesting and it tells you a lot of information about different cultures I’m currently going to 6th and I’ve been at this school since i was in 4th I really recommend it for you and trust me, you will lean ALOT

I went to this school, now that I’m older and wiser this school is absolutely amazing. I will definitely bring my future kids here haha.
