Great facility; the building is big, nice, and clean. I was considering coming here to improve my English skills, but today I had my first and last class. The topic of my lesson was: “How NOT to Treat People.” I was attended by Melvin J. Rocha Rivera for ESL enrollment information. Unfortunately, this person showed: • Lack of social skills • 0% professionalism • 0% active listening • 0% empathy • Very arrogant and haughty behavior All my questions were answered with sarcasm, making me feel completely unwelcome and out of place. If this is the level of education and attitude from the staff, then what could you possibly teach me? Better to go somewhere else. Best college for transfer students or to get your AA/AS. I received two in two years, and successfully transferred to Cal State. Amazing counselors, terrific professors (especially math, physics, and comp science), beautiful campus, free charging stations. You really can't ask for more!
Wonderful Marin County community college. Beautiful campus. New high tech buildings replace old collegiate architecture of yesteryear, but younger students are not nostalgic for what once WAS. Robin Williams was a student here. Decades of wonderful teachers have taught here. Classes and programs for a wide variety of learners. Can be an economical feeder school into University degree programs. ESL, Disabled, and certificate programs also. Senior "Emeritus" classes.
I would never want to be a student where professors believe in shame and bullying tactics to teach. Do not take a class from Birdie Winrow.
Great college!! Professors are passionate and very knowledgeable. The college makes a big effort to have fun events on campus almost every week. Classrooms and labs are modern and well equipped.
