Cogic Cathedral Day Care Center

My 10 month old grandson has been attending COGIC daycare since November of 2023. I love his two teachers in the infant room. They are the best! The both of them are very engaging and interacting with the children in their care. I also love the Pro Care app that the facility uses. I’m kept inform of his daily activities, the eating schedules, when supplies are needed as well as great communication tool overall for the Director to communicate with parents whether it’s a weekly newsletter with an inspirational quote at the end, events happening within the daycare community. Overall, I’ve been very pleased with this daycare. A big shout to Ms. Shyra and her staff.

My oldest daughter now 1 1/2 has been attending the daycare since she was 4 months old. The transition into the daycare was remarkable! The infant teachers loved on her as if she was their own and truly helped in creating a schedule for her! As she has transitioned into the new classroom the staff still do everything they can to help her adjust on difficult days. If it wasn’t for Cogic I am unsure where my child would be. She is developmentally ahead and continues to thrive! I can tell she is excited daily to see her teachers and classmates! Also as a Child Protective Services Social Worker I always strive to have my child in a safe and cohesive environment, Cogic hasn’t failed me yet! They continue to meet the standards set out by the state. They are one of the few childcare centers I know in Greensboro that have late hours to accommodate my strenuous work schedule! They engage families and have activities for your children to participate in for the holiday seasons! I am excited to continue to see my daughter grow and can’t wait for my newborn to begin here!

My daughter started at Cogic when she was 11 months after being home with me since she was born. I love that infant room teachers loved on her and made the transition easy and that I got pictures of her almost daily. When she transitioned to the toddler class the teachers also made the transition seamless. It’s a small daycare so it is intimate and she knows all of the teachers. I would definitely recommend this daycare!

As someone who has been a part of the COGIC family for years, I have witnessed the significant growth that has taken place at this facility, which is one of the reasons I highly recommend it to anyone. The facility has shown a genuine concern for the overall well-being of your child and provides a nurturing and family-like environment. While I have had brief experiences at other daycares where the focus was more on transactions than care, I know that COGIC understands and delivers the importance of providing a warm and welcoming environment for your child. I encourage you to trust COGIC with your child's care, as they will give the necessary attention and care they deserve.

COGIC is a great place. I was nervous sending my child, I called very often when she started in May 2022, and they were always reassuring. My daughter has met wonderful people and has learned a lot. She loves Mya. Everyone greets her in the morning and afternoons. Ms. Shyra and the staff members encourage parent involvement with everything and posts updates about the center often. They go on lots of outings during the summer and recently started taking the kids to the library. COGIC is a loving, educational, and nurturing environment.
